At first glance it doesn’t look like a place to go, but the staff were extremely friendly and the food was on point. Put other breakfast places to shame. Also good prices for the amount of food we got. Such a good experience our group came back the next day. The customer service piece is also amazing. The main cook is so nice : we will always come back.
Nice quaint little breakfast place. Went there right at 7:30 when they open, very friendly staff, and a local venue. Very small inside, won’t seat more than about 12 or so at the small counter, but they also have some outdoor seating area with tables. Large selection of items on the menu. A little run down, but that just adds to the ambiance. Had heuvos rancheros…very good! The green chili hot salsa as a condiment made it even better. Coffee is typical diner style, decent, not great. Prices were decent, probably less than a typical California restaurant. What makes this place is a good meal and friendly conversation not only with the staff, but locals who come here all the time. Would I come back again…yes. Would I recommend…yes.
The food is as advertised on the sign...Cozy. Cute little Cafe, service is nice and friendly. The seating is back to old school. Your lesson when you get there. I do like this place a lot.
I ordered one of their signature dishes, the Greek Deluxe no mushrooms. The Greek Deluxe is 3 scrambled eggs with gyro, feta cheese, spinach, mushroom which I asked to leave out, & tzatziki sauce and a side of home fries. It was delicious and full of flavor. I added some hot sauce to spice it up. The Cozy Cafe is on a main street, so I found parking down a smaller street a block away. The service was efficient. The food came out fast and the server checked on me twice. I ate at their counter, which is pretty small and "cozy." Vegetarian options: There were vegetarian options available. Wheelchair accessibility: You can bring your wheelchair through their outside seating.
Incredible service, after just walking in the door. Greeted by three behind the counter, and immediately brought menu and asked if I had any questions… As I always have lots of questions, they were very welcoming and continued to provide A+ customer service. Family-owned, this Little teeny weenie restaurant gave me wonderful service years ago. I was so excited that nothing had changed, including the delicious food. Unlike so many other breakfast places, they offer the most delicious tzatziki, so I ordered the Greek omelette. Like years ago, their tzatziki and Greek omelette were delicious. Dining here, you’ll not only experience a wonderfully warm, family like feeling but will also enjoy delicious and fresh made to order food. Don’t miss their green salsa which is hot and worth it!
The name matches the place perfectly- and I can tell why they proudly say that the locals eat there! It’s so quaint and perfect for a traditional breakfast. All of the staff are sweet, and the food is yummy!Food: 5/5
We’ve been wanting to try this cute little cafe for years and finally caught them open. We eat breakfast kinda late sometimes…. Now we eat here every chance we get. The owners remember you and are so kind and friendly. The food is exceptional, home style. We say regulars now and know there names. Couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!
Best place to get breakfast All made to order and the family that runs this is amazing !Food: 5/5
I found this place off a whim when coming down PCH from Malibu. Craving brunch, I just decided to walk in and have this place without hesitating to find out what was so special about it. Wow! I had the Greek scramble and two hotcakes and all I can say is the food was absolutely amazing for the dollar I paid for! I can say for certain next time I'm in the South Bay looking for a nice, "cozy", place to have some breakfast and coffee, I'll be stopping be here in a hear beat. Thank you again to the staff who did such an amazing job taking care of us!
Just moved to Redondo and took a walk to discover this little gem. The food was great, and the staff was so kind. They made us feel so welcomed in our new neighborhood!Food: 5/5
