Beautiful park. On a peninsula & we can see the water from our site. At 44ft our Bessie is a big trailer but there was a spot to fit her. Only water & electric hookups at the site. There is a dump station. Dog-friendliness: Lots of dogs. All on leashes.
Good fishing, lots of wildlife: herons, eagles, sasquatches careful they throw rocks to scare ya. Playground: Looks fun, says I'm too big to play but whatever... Restrooms: Clean Picnic area: Shaded in view of marina and beach
Because it's on the water Cranfield is one of the best campgrounds that I've stayed in. It's for the most part Shady bathrooms are clean and it's family-friendly. Restrooms: Cleaned and maintained
Before moving to Mountain Home, this was our go to camp ground. Beautiful setting and well maintained. Only 4 stars because there are no sewer sites and many years the access road is under water.
Flooded launch ramp. Causeway is under water. Just enough room to turn truck and trailer around to back in and launch your boat. If it's a weekend or holiday plan on swimmers being in your way even with the no swimming signs posted. They just have no clue how dangerous it is to be around those boats and propellers.
Always clean and seems like a safer less trafficked area than other nearby lake/parks
Still closed but you can walk in, had a nice day walking around the campground. Been a long time due to high water levels, but we will be there this summer!
