I went there to check out their bar glasses and their dinner plate collection and they some interesting pieces. I was looking for cup & saucer. They have limited items, but I could pick something g for me. The staff were very friendly and they went out of their way to help the customer. They have lot of interesting kitchenwares, if you are in the market to upgrade your kitchen , this should be a spot you don’t want to miss.
I went to return something and the manager called Mike was a rude racist. I was shocked. Shame on you and your management to allow you to disrespect customers like that. I will never return to this store ever again. I grew up in the US and he told me “maybe in your country”. I also speak English with no accent. REPLY: no Tiffany. An online order return was refused by your store manager in a very rude and inappropriate manner. I ended up shipping it back to CB online. I will never step foot there and i hope others don’t either. Racism has no place anywhere!!!!!! Mike you know exactly what you said and how you said it. The color of your skin doesn’t make you better than anyone. Don’t forget that.
I was being helped by a lovely young lady who introduced herself as Emily T. She was very inviting and knowledgeable, and I was disturbed by what seemed to be her manager, Sawyer, talk down to her, even swear, in front of employees and customers to such a sweet lady. I don't know what was going on but it was very hard for me to watch such mistreatment of an employee.
The popular chain has a beautiful multi level store on Bellevue Way on the same block as Bellevue Square mall. Many wonderful items to choose from, unfortunately it is drastically overpriced and all levels of services are poor. There is plenty of free parking . Long long time customer, first time returning a gift. I crate and varrel wants to loose customer over lack of gift receipt even though product has crate and barrel bar code. New store policy for bellevue location.
I had been a regular customer to Crate and Barrel. I personally like the collection. But, at store not many have good knowledge on the items they have. Only couple of good expert associates for the entire store. One of the furniture that I received was damaged, and when asked for a fix. No proper response from the team.
Lovely PNW vibe kind of furniture here! Didn’t buy anything but enjoyed the beautiful display and lovely staff.
The dreaded experience I have just had with Bellevue's drive up 'will call dept.' in the past week has put a black mark on whatever business we have done with them prior. Ordering dinnerware and picking up the items from 'will call' was a travesty. Instead of 1 visit to pick up the items it was 5. And with each visit added more stress... wrong items, told they were already picked up, couldn't find items, come back tomorrow, not keeping promises of shipping items... etc. etc. etc. So if I may: 1. Check your items when leaving 'will call' even if they are in a closed box. Frustrating! 2. You'll need proof of your whereabouts on the day in question when they tell you your items were already picked up and they, of course, were not. Shocking! 3. Have proof of where your family members live. I was told the items were picked up by my son who lives 2080 miles away. Amusing! 3. If they say your items cannot be found...do not leave until you get an email confirmation that the items will be shipped free of charge. Warning Will Robinson!... Once you leave with nothing they mark your items as 'picked up'. This department is very rushed. They just want to move on to the next customer and do not follow through with anything they promise you. Inefficient! 4. Do not bother venting to a manager because her message is not to order on line. Speechless! 5. Now that I have done my bashing, there was one very shining interaction with Cheryl from customer service. Not only did she make good the "couldn't find your order" items that Tony said he would ship to me, however, he just marked the items 'picked up' and did nothing further. She also made several follow up emails tracking the items and then confirming the delivery of them with me. Cheryl was very compassionate, professional, and a delight to speak with. She alone gets 10 stars and has given hope that all is not lost with Crate and Barrel. Stupendous!
to be honest, sales are pretty stuck up in their noses. Having worked in retail, I am more understanding than not. but not here....safe to say I wouldn't be shopping in this store in the future.
Update: I contacted their chat support, it has been 5 days and I still haven’t heard anything on what happened! Do not use their In home design service or do not use C &B at all! They are good no more… Terrible service, they were no show for their in home design consultation service! They let you schedule this service online but there is no link or phone number in the confirmation text they send you! I got two confirmation texts still no body showed up at the scheduled time on a Sat ! Very disappointed and angry as I had to make arrangements to be home for the service! Do not use these guys for design ideas! I was planning to purchase my dining furniture from them but no longer am!
