Disappointed, ordered a piece of furniture. Told by the staff at the store, it was not in stock, order online and it will be there in four weeks or less. Four weeks came and went, calls made to the store, not in, tracking thru the portal showing only the order being received... but expect it shortly. Then the date moves back from any day to 60 days later. Now says it will arrive early May... awesome except its already mid-May. Call the store, they know nothing, if you call after hours... they tell you their hours, that they are closed and hang up on you. Worked with Marian on their chat line, professional and in minutes told me its been in, and will reach out to the store confirm its in and I can pick it up. I've been a long time customer of Crate and Barrel... have three rooms fully furnished with their products. This was the first purchase in the past three years. Times have changed.
I Purchase a sectional on February, waited two months for them to deliver. In the mean time I was already paying for it. When they delivered the sectional, they scratched my whole sectional. I called the store spoke to the manager Kerry from the Wauwatosa store on Mayfair, WI, I even spoke to the sales representative Kelly. They both said they’ll send a replacement for me. I’ve saysend photos of the furnit. They only sent someone to pick up the damaged furniture without a replacement. When I called Kerry she hung up on me. And said she’d refer me to a customer service representative, that she could no longer help me…WHAT???
vastly over rated. Ridiculous pricing it's near a mall with products that are at least 50% more than what you can get next door. I hate paying the mall rent for these places, or being hustled.
Ordered a "custom" table for $1500 and waited 3+ months for it. Table has a giant crack around the edge and they won't take it back since it's a "custom" item. They also keep rejecting my review on their website because it's critical of their product. Will never buy from them again.
The minute I enter crate and barrel this location only I am hit with this uncomfortable feeling from the staff judging and staring at me as if I’m stealing. The managers are also rude and not welcoming. Even with returns they question me as if I’m doing something wrong. I would visit this location more if they got rid of the staff. Based on other reviews I can see I’m not alone regarding terrible staff and customer service. This is my first time ever leaving a review in my life. That’s how uncomfortable I am visiting this location

Being an African American women and going into the store they don’t greet you or ask do you need help. I still decided to purchase my vase and they helped the lady behind me as I said excuse me I standing here and the sales rep said ok I asked for a manager and she said he was on lunch. I won’t be back this was my 4th time experiencing racism in the store. After this time I will just go to West Elm or pottery barn. Tyler I see that your reply does not mention anything about training your employees on culture diversity and how to treat customers. Only to shop via phone or online no THANK YOU. Apparently the whole company needs training
I cannot begin to state the rudeness and judgement I received from Kelly L now on two occasions at this location. I absolutely love Crate and Barrel as a business but I have never been judged more by someone in a retail setting as I have been by Kelly. She is rude, acts if you are putting her out judges you by your physical appearance and then still thinks she should get praise for doing the bare minimum. She not only treated me like I was beneath any items I was looking at to purchase in the store but then misinformed me of what was the best process and lied in front of her coworker that she ALWAYS states this process which she did not and because of her attitude she didn’t even apologize but tried to make me feel like I once again did wrong by her and Crate and Barrel - she stated it wasn’t her I worked with as she was holding her own card in her hand. I wish there was a closer location so I could go there in the future which is the saddest thought that I have to avoid an employee in order to support crate and barrel as a whole.
Home decorating lover should visit, nice stuffs is the best part.
This was the WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE!! Usually the staff is pleasant, helpful and inviting. I frequent this location. Saturday afternoon I was helped by an associate named Yvonne. She was extremely rude and pushy. I was entering in my phone number information and that was skipped through. Her response was "you don't get points anyway". She then charged my card and by passed my email info. Next, while purchasing a gift, I had to ask to have a glass boxed, and was then told "oh you want a box". I was then slid this box with no bag or carry handle. When I questioned the handle, I was snapped at and told it's too late for that this box is too small. I replied, can I have a bigger box? At this point she was irritated, shoved the handle in "that wouldn't fit " and sent me on my way. She was extremely RUDE AND UNPROFESSIONAL. I will definitely be spreading the word about this lack luster experience.
