They open at 9 a.m but don't even answer their phone. How are ya at lunch at 9:30 in the morning . I herd their ad on the radio and it sounded promising. I knew it was to good to be true. To lazy to pick up a phone SMH.
Went due to desperate need of immediate dental work. Staff was beyond rude and degrading., they did NOT give any service outside of a couple xrays..Billed my insurance an astronomical amount and never contacted me after. Would not allow them to be trusted to work on a fish! I hope no one at this office is ever in need of services and is treated the way I was treated by them.
One word…awful! Victoria told me verbatim that I “will take whatever appointment she gives me.” I can’t imagine how the dentist would of treated me! Thanks Victoria for saving me a probably painful experience! Stay away from here!
Trying to schedule an appointment or even get them to answer the phone is extremely difficult. Victoria who answered the phone was incredibly rude.
DO NOT GO HERE!!! We were patients for years until I needed more than just routine work. I went in for a crown and was surprised at the amount. According to my insurance company, it was $160. I paid over $300 the day I got the work done. I went back for my 6 month cleaning and told them I was unhappy with the work and had I known it would look that bad I would not have done it. They said it was just cosmetic... NOT a satisfactory answer. These are my teeth! A few months after I complained I got a letter from a collection agency for almost $1000!!! I am currently working on disputing this charge. And my new dentist said the shoddy work was not just cosmetic. Sigh... at least I left before Dr. Melbourne pulled 3 teeth that do not need to be pulled. Unless you want to over pay for good teeth to be pulled, I recommend Aspen Dental.
I had an extensive procedure done on Friday the 21st. Dr. Melbourne and his staff was very gentle and attentive to me the whole time. Dr. Melbourne was very knowledgeable and informative about my options. He's very open and honest with what you would need. His staff was very through in setting expectations for me afterwards. I love how Dr. Melbourne and his staff follow up with you the next day. I feel blessed to have found a dentist office with such values.
I'll be completely honest, Creekside Dental wasn't my first choice for a dentist when I moved to Knoxville. My dental insurance assigned me to their office, but I have to say it has been a wonderful experience. The staff has always been polite and helpful on all my visits. Granted I have not had any major procedures done here and only had my semi-annual cleanings, I have actually enjoyed going to the dentist knowing I'll be taken care of by a great staff. I would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for a dentist.
I have not even had my appointment yet, but the receptionist was so rude over the phone that I highly doubt that I will book an appointment here. Lord willing I find another dentist to accept my insurance, I do not want to have to go there.
Dr. Melbourne was very professional, knowledgeable and even made it pretty much painless! HOWEVER, his wife/office manager was the complete OPPOSITE. Very rude, unprofessional and gave me alot of billing problems, even though I'd insurance as well as paid the misleading out-of-pocket responsibility. This was over a year ago and I've never went back, nor do I plan to. This place could be so much more if the doctor would invest in a better staff.
The only reason I give this place a two star is because the woman who did my cleaning was super sweet and made me more confident in my smile. All I wanted was to get my teeth cleaned and filled. The dentist here decided he was going to keep going and going on one of my teeth. Apparently I had a tooth that had decay that kept going and going. But I didn’t want a HOLE in my tooth. Now I have no crown. Just left with a tooth with a hole. And not to mention, I still can’t chew with the right side of my mouth due to the hole and how sensitive my teeth still are. This all happened in March or April… and it was a mistake to waste money on dental insurance just to go here. I’d also like to add this was my first dentist visit… ever. So I’m too terrified to go to another dentist in fear that this will happen again. The dentist should have done an X-ray to see my roots and he should asked me before he proceeded to put a hole in my tooth. Chewing with just one side of your mouth is tiring and it’s painful after a while. I literally can’t even let a cold or hot beverage hit that tooth or else I’ll have a few seconds of agonizing pain.
