Staff not overly friendly or helpful. Was like pulling teeth to get any answers about products, availability or pricing. Felt like I was interrupting the morning coffee crew.
This store is great. They have everything and are usually cheaper than the big box stores. Manager Matt is extremely helpful & knowledgeable.
This is twice I've been there recently in the last couple weeks. Never have in stock what's needed. Not always pleasant help from staff either, depends on who it is from staff. Feel like your bothering them. Prices are a little higher then going elsewhere, but i guess to be expected from small town store. So much dust on products, leave with wondering if it's any good and how long it's been there.... think closer attention to what people buy more often or need when coming in may be helpful. Cleaning or dusting could help with sales and certainly appearance!
K1 kerosene . Shelf tag reads $49.99 . Hat wearing goat tee guy at the register tells me it is $85 because of a price increase . Explain shelf tag price . I can't do anything about . It's $85 or I can take it off the bill ... Well I had him remove it. Classic bait and switch technique. I will shop in Bangor from know on because I can be petty too . Started a remodel on my house recently. This has lost them thousands of dollars in sales because of one cashier ... The photo is just to prove I was in the store today .
I will be honest I love those worker's there they are great I tell them what I need and then they show me I will go here before I will travel to homedepot or Lowe's very friendly too!! Thanks
We patronize Crescent Lumber fairly often, and always find the best service - and oftentimes, their prices undercut the larger stores. They've been very helpful in ordering items that we want, as well as offering advice on projects. Very grateful they're in the area - would rather spend our money locally.
Every time I'm sent to the hardware store for supplies, I'll drive to Corinth because it's the easiest store to shop in. 99% of the time they have exactly what is asked for me to bring back. And if it's not exactly what I was sent to get, they always find a way to make the item work. Their staff is wonderful. I'll go in with a list of a few items and they'll walk and help me with the Items I was sent to pick up.
We are currently expanding our business, and decided to to look in to buying supplies for our building expansion here in Michigan, as well as our new construction in Newport ME, but was told to inquire as to what type of trim materials and brands they offer. The guy that answered just hung up on me, not once but twice. I asked for the gentleman that I was told was a manager. My feeling is that, since changing hands, maybe he doesnt work there any longer, but to not direct a customer to the proper place? Or even ask what its regarding. We will now look at Hancock Lumber Outlet, and I suggest you do too!
Exceptional Customer Service. We were working on a project in Corinth. The store manager, Matt was exceedingly helpful with all our needs while on site. I highly recommend this company to everyone working in the area.
