It's always to nice and peaceful. Even when the park is full of families and activities, it's always a spot to just sit and relax. My Sunday afternoon getaway.
Nice little park in a nice little neighborhood. Great for walking, sports games and picnics. Has a swimming pool, playground and tennis court. Also has a pavilion with a fireplace and restrooms. I visited this park on July, 10 2018 and it says the pool is closed on Sundays & Tuesdays. Parking is one way in and one way out.
We always have a good time! The pool was closed and the bathrooms were closed. Playground: Great thing there was a tarp over the playground!!!! It wasn’t there when we went in June. I’m glad it was placed there as it can get extremely hot! Restrooms: Closed Picnic area: It was covered
Plenty of pathed walking track to use with a nice layout. Minimal puddles/mud after the rain. The road that runs parallel to the path is a little noisy so I would recommend bringing headphones.
Crestwood Park tennis courts are conveniently located for individuals that live in North Crestwood and the surrounding areas right off of the interstate. If you're looking for a great place to enjoy tennis as well as relax and read a book in the park , or take the advantage of walking your dog, take the time to stop at Crestwood North Park Dog-friendliness: The people here are open-minded as well as thoughtful when it comes to sharing the tennis courts and pickleball courts
Best place to play pickleball in Birmingham- The courts might look rough but the people are top notch! Easy to get in a quick match with all levels of play
I go jogging here sometimes. It's a great, family-friendly place with lots to offer, as far as a city park is concerned. Right next to the home of the Punk Rock Art Show, True Story Brewing!
Great family park there is a swimming pool with life guards Nice play ground and a walking trail.
This park is okay. There is a decent walking/running path. The pickleball and tennis courts are super popular, and there is a decent playground. But the park could use some infrastructure updates. It is extremely poorly lit. The signs say it is open until 11 pm, but it is WAY too dark to feel safe there in the evening. The sidewalks flood and frequently have standing water in several places. Near the tennis courts, the sidewalk drops off sharply to an area with exposed pipes. Hopefully, they will fix some of these issues.
One of the best parks out there in my book as a nearby swimming pool were you can swim freely or join their swim team if you have a tast for competitions or just want learn to swim better. It slide in play with various other equipment along padded safety ground so even if there a accidentally fall there a reduced chance of injury. Connected to the park is a decent size walking/running track. Overall it may not be the newest park but it check all the boxes I can ask for. Playground: They playground is decent size with padded ground. But could use some cleaning for some item but the rest is great Restrooms: I find the restrooms for this park are typically locked sadly unless there some special events so best to keep that in mind when there Picnic area: The park itself it rather wide open so there plenty of picnic area you can make in grass. However they have a dedicated picnic area that is covered from rain and typical weather that can used.
