This might be one of the most interesting malls I have ever been to, the experience walking into the food court was interesting to say the least, tons of pan handlers just about guide you all the way into the mall. Once in the mall you will find a decent offering of stores and places to eat in the food court, the mall is relatively clean, however there is a dated slightly dingy feel to the place. Overall I guess it's a good place to get in and get out for a few small things and maybe a quick bite to eat, this probably explains why there was plenty of parking!
Has chickfila, aunty Anne's, and a boba tea place. Got a lot of new shops.
Very pretty mall, lots of natural light
Stopped by here today and we got soda from the vending machine. There was no price and only took cards, so we thought no big deal. $5.50 for a 20 ounce soda. Rest of mall was mediocre, JCP had tons of clothes but style was bland. Large army base leads to lots of for traffic but stores here sell basic apparel despite high shopper turnout. Mall in Durham is much better and Crabtree Mall in Raleigh is great.
Good mall. Unlike many othe rmalls today it is almost 100% occupied. A good mix of shops and a full foodcourt. Could use some updates to the interior and exterior but it is a pretty nice place to shop.
Security in the mall is extremely lackluster. You see men walk around with guns in their pockets holding them as they walk while security will walk right next to them more busy on their phones than enforcing their own policies. But GOD FORBID someone is in the mall wearing short shorts. That’s a big risk! The mall consists mostly of shoe stores so if that’s what you’re into then it’s alright.
This mall has decent store selection but it is an older mall and some of the character patrons are suspect Creepy. But you can get most of what you are looking for in your typical mall environment.
I understand you are doing renovations on your restrooms. However, please make sure the ones that are available are clean. 3 of 5 stalls were out of order, and the 2 available were absolutely disgusting.
I still don't understand why everything in this town is situated by the mall, which causes all of the traffic and the high rate of accidents all around the mall. I mean did they get a premium on the lot space around the mall and there were no other alternatives to expand other business spaces in other places in that town? Then the mall is so GHETTO. I very rarely go and I have only gone when I absolutely have to make a return. Then I make the swiftest dash to get in and out. I see they're trying desperately to revamp it, but will it help I doubt it. The shooting and fighting has gone up, but that's Fayettenam over all. It is hard to see the panhandlers who are legitimately down on their luck. I sympathize with any and everyone going through hard times. However, I have encountered those asking for money the few times that I've gone. Once in the evening outside of JCP and another time when I was actually standing at one of the beauty counters in Macys.
This place has gone down hill. Did not feel safe security just sitting in chairs and observed several individuals with open carry side arms walking around. Saw one local police officer but nothing doe will not be going back
