First Crossfit experience ever. The coaches and owner are highly trained and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is nonintimidating and encouraging. As a beginner, I was able to scale the workouts to my needs and abilities with guidance of the coach. Crossfit brought back my strength and has given me a better quality of life.
If you’re looking for somewhere to workout in Concord, NC, stop, give Brent a call, and go check out Crossfit Afton. CFA was my first Crossfit experience; I joined shortly after they opened their doors and all I can say is that my fitness, nutrition, and health have improved dramatically. The facility and equipment are awesome, the coaching is high-quality, and the people who work out there are simply amazing individuals. Since I joined, I have never wanted to take a day off from working out! In my almost 1.5 years at CFA I got my body fat back down to where I was in college, got the strongest I had EVER been, increased my work capacity, and learned how to do things I had never done before snatch, clean & jerk, hand stand push-ups, and muscle ups to name a few. I cannot recommend Crossfit Afton and the job Brent is doing enough! Go give it a try! Get a great workout and meet some really awesome people!
