What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a method of training that focuses on functional movements at performed at high intensity with constant variety. Instead of hopping on a resistance machine at the gym to sculpt a particular body part, CrossFit focuses on total fitness. This method tends to be more effective at muscle building and body sculpting than choosing a muscle to work and hammering away at it.
CrossFit is sometimes referred to as the "sport of fitness." Instead of a routine that involves doing several repetitive sets of an exercise, workouts (or WODs) are scored. This means that the workout is a task, and the participant strives to achieve a score or time.
