What is CrossFit?
CrossFit is a strength and conditioning program. It's prescription is functional movements that are constantly varied and performed at high intensity. These are big words that get thrown around a lot, and understanding their context is imperative for anyone in the program. Functional movements are natural, universal motor recruitment patterns that are performed by all of us throughout our lifetimes. Constantly varying these movements in as elegant an effort to prepare an athlete for general physical preparedness(GPP) is always a goal of the program. Intensity is power. Power is (forcexdistance)/time. We want to help you increase your intensity, not how much you sweat or how loud you yell. But the obvious is never seen in the words. CrossFit is more than a strength and conditioning program, it is a lifestyle that can be shared with like minded individuals. Please come find out for yourself, we would love to help you.
What is CrossFit Kids?
"CrossFit kids is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely absolutely CrossFit geared and designed for a specific population and the specific developmental needs of that population."
Our CrossFit Kids program has one goal that holds priority over all others: to pair fitness with fun for children. We want kids to be intrinsically motivated to be physically active, and facilitate their improvements as they grow.
We are a registered CrossFit Kids affiliate with classes and camps for kids of all ages.
