Paid for 3 nights, left after 2. The upsides: Staff was friendly at check in and the pool/hot tub/fitness room and sauna are the best things about this place for sure! The issues: The layout of sites is really odd.......the creek is such an appealing feature but you can only enjoy one sliver of it on the site you rent and big warnings about stepping foot onto any area that's not your site. Really odd. Verizon cell service is dead here. Absolutely dead. Since each site is privately owned you get wifi from the site you stay at. Ours did not work, so combined with no verizon, we had no way to connect to anything while we were here. 10 pieces of paper at check in.....multiple different rule sheets. No playground. Had to drive across the park to take your trash out. For the hefty price we paid, the basics were barely there. It's a beautiful resort, but way too heavy of a focus on the extra special amenities and not enough focus on basics.
Definitely a 5 star resort but it comes with a 5 star price. Too expensive to bother with for short stay. Some rental lots are much nicer than others. There are plenty of other options in the area for half the price. The option to purchase a lot is great. I would definitely consider owning a lot at Crossing Creek.
Very nice and clean RV resort. Reason for 3 star is some of the owners make you feel very unwelcome and are quick to tell you that their property is private property. We had a creek site and my daughter was fishing by the creek and I guess stepped over the property line and was yelled at by an owner to stay off her property. There’s no way to know where the lines are because the campers are a pretty good ways from the creek. Just doesn’t have that friendly camp ground feel.
When not flooding, it's a nice resort with nice staffs. However, I felt like it's an uptight senior community.Rooms: 4/5
Absolutely beautiful Resort in a beautiful location!!!. They thought of everything!. Oversized concrete pads, cable TV bring your own coaxial cable, crystal clear creeks, chipping green for golfers, mega size chess & checker set, horseshoes, hot tub, heated pool, well appointed exercise room, activities building with board games & drawing supplies, fenced off leash dog run. They furbaby friendly, with rules of course. Understandably, pets are not allowed in the buildings or pool areas; which shouldn't be a problem for respectful pet owners with well mannered pets. Beautiful state park, awesome pizza place and restaurants very close by many restaurants deliver to your site, within the resort, via third party delivery service; Smokey Mountain National Park less than an hour away. FYI... Crossing Creeks Resort and Spa friendly staff, provide a wonderful list of these restaurants with phone numbers and delivery service phone number. We cannot wait to go back!!! If you are wanting to go to the North Georgia Mountain/ Smokey Mountain area, I highly recommend Crossing Creeks RV Resort & Spa as your home base. Location, location, location.
Made to pay in full with no refund signed waiver before you see the site. Way too costly for a cement slab. A big paved parking lot with RVs on top of each other. No privacy. Verizon is even poor here. If you want wifi you have to get a router and coaxial cable. Only can see a few mountain tops. Very disappointed. I don't feel as if I am in the mountains.
Fantastic Place to stay. Neighbors were awesome and the staff were very helpful and friendly. As a family of 6 plus a dog, we lived here for over two months and the when it came time to leave, the kids cried like hurt babies. This place was super fantastic, and if you like the outdoors like hiking, biking, leaf looking, etc. you should really stop by and stay some time in Blairsville at Crossing Creek RV Report and Spa.
Very nice resort. Grounds are very well kept. Pool and spa facilities are very clean. Although the price is higher than your average campground that is the price you pay for not having your normal campground negatives. Our site was large and level concrete. Even though our site was close to the welcome center we had no WiFi.
Very clean and well kept. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Park was easy to find and get into. It is gated and well lit. They have so many amenities! Rv spots are wide and level and park has beautiful mountain views. The nicest thing is being so close to all the great places in North Georgia but just outside of the hustle and bustle enough to have a peaceful stay.
Great place and freindly staff. Very nice large paved sites with a view. Fire pits available upon request. Very quiet and peaceful place. Great pool and facilities that were very clean. Only negative is no trash pickup at site or trash drop off near exit. Requires trash to be driven to dumpster on partial paved and gravel road at back of resort. Really enjoyed our stay and will go back.
