Crosstown Arts is a contemporary arts organization dedicated to further cultivating the creative community in Memphis. Managing five types of spaces that integrate varying components of exhibition, performance, production, education and retail, Crosstown Arts supports multidisciplinary and collaborative projects that interconnect people and organizations. Crosstown Arts welcomes anyone in the community to join any of our events or projects, regardless of prior experience or expertise with creative interests.
Crosstown Arts at 430 N. Cleveland is a performance and exhibition venue open to all artists, musicians and organizers to host their own arts-related events. Booking is based on calendar availability.
Crosstown Arts Gallery, located at 422 N. Cleveland, is an exhibition space programmed by Crosstown Arts. Local and national artists working in all media are shown in an annual roster of ten exhibitions.
story booth, located within the Cleveland Street Flea Market, is our after-school youth arts program dedicated to helping students (aged 10-18) cultivate their creative and expository writing and other art-making skills.
The Cleveland Street Flea Market offers retail opportunities for area artists and vendors with a broad, eclectic range of goods for sale.
Studios/Storefronts: Crosstown Arts subleases six spaces on North Cleveland to artists, organizations, creative venues and new businesses related to our mission.
Crosstown Arts also organizes several programming series, including Memphis’ PechaKucha Nights; the annual artist funding dinner, MemFeast; a Visiting Artist Series sponsored by VO2 Networx; and various collaborative and community events.
