I would like to thank the whole staff at Crowes Funeral Home in Queens, NY. Very professional, courteous and showed empathy for my ex-husband and his family as well as my daughter and I. I can’t thank you guys enough for all you’ve done in a timely manner.

I had the honor of working a funeral with Crowes today and have worked with them for several others as well in the past. I'm always amazed at the care they show to the family and all involved. I've worked with countless funeral homes all over NY and NJ and Crowes is by far, one of the best. Chaplain Brewster is an absolute pleasure to work with and to talk with. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Crowes to anyone! It's as if he's laying his own loved one to rest!

The obituary that they provided written for my mother Eupertee Wilkins, and approved although Sherylon Wilkins, Eupertee Wilkins living youngest child is indeed Alive. The obituary handed in, and approved clearly reads false in noting that 2 of Eupertee Wilkins children are deceased. Sherylon Wilkins is Alive and Well. I miss my mother beyond words I can express. May Mrs. Eupertee Wilkins, my Mom Rest In Peace. I'm sure she approves of this noted correction. The change of times of wrong, and right being actively corrected for truth.

The services you provided for my father Elder Nathan M McCain was so Respectful and Divine. You are a true Purpose and God knew exactly where you needed to be, when he sent us to you! Thank You and God Bless You!

Such a great place that really went above and beyond to help my family and I during a tough time. Ms. Battle is such a pleasure to work with and gave above and beyond service as we planned a funeral in a short amount time. The music ministry was also amazing, thank you so much! Their new renovations looked great and they even had an over flow room for our guest to watch the funeral since our main room was packed to their COVID capacity. Do not hesitate to work with them for your arrangements. Thank you all

Crowe's funeral home is cleane, well maintained, professional and adhered to CDC guidelines. Ms. Battle was such a professional. She always returned calls, answered my questions and was available when needed. The organist and singer were amazing and made you want to continue praise and worship. My family and friends were so impressed. Thank you Crowe's and Ms. Battle for helping my Sister and I as we grieved our Beloved Mom!

It's been 14 years since I've used Mr Brewster and his staff services for the funeral of my mom. However the experience, time, care, empathy and concern Mr Brewster took me with I will never forget.

It pains me to leave a negative review but I hope that Crowe’s will take this review into consideration so others will never have to experience what we did. My grandmother passed away on 7/5/21 and we were referred here by a family member. Typically - we would use a funeral home in Brooklyn as we have had prior experience with them however we decided to go with this home as it was recommended. We met with them and explained that most of our family is abroad and they will need to be live-streamed in. They said it’s no problem and that they have their own service that is used. We also explained that my grandmother’s pastor in Trinidad will be calling in to pray and again, no problem as we can zoom them in. Finally, we set up a slideshow and asked if it can be played. Again, they said no problem and that we should bring in the laptop and they will be able to stream it. Once we paid, everything and I mean EVERYTHING went downhill. Two days before the funeral, we go to the funeral home and they explain that the link will be available tomorrow Wednesday. We call Wednesday to get the link and they explain that the link will be available Thursday morning. The funeral was scheduled to begin at 2 - it started late as the “IT Person” was out to lunch. She was unaware of how to hook our laptop up for the slideshow to be played and therefore, we couldn’t play it. We were also told that they couldn’t connect Zoom for the pastor so he had to send a last minute Whatsapp voice note for us to play. The stream was the absolute worst. Everyone reached out to us complaining that it wasn’t working and we heard excuses from too many people were logged in to it they needed to view it from their computer. I spent half of my time trying to fix all of the problems when I should have spent my time being relaxed and comforted. I missed half of the funeral due to their error - especially one that cost us $300 for a live stream. Finally - we asked for the download to the funeral so we can upload it on our terms and the website tried to charge us $45. They explained that it should be on the website right away, for free, and where is it?? Nowhere to be found. Now we’re being asked to come back next week to pick up the hard copy. I will NEVER deal with this funeral home again and I strongly suggest those with international ties to avoid this funeral home. It’s extremely unfortunate that my grandmother didn’t get the send off she properly deserved and I hope that the funeral home will learn from this experience. As for my family and I, we will absolutely be seeking ways to be recompensed for this. It was an abhorrent experience that we won’t be able to get over.

A relative of mine had services here in 2015. Everyone was helpful. Fast forward to 2019. Every time I think of my relative I'll go onto the remembrance page and light a candlewith a fee. This year I'm unable to do so. I called and was advised its because of the time that has passed4yrs. Seriously? That's the explanation. Felt like a punch in the stomach. I'm disgusted and hurt.

This funeral home and it's staff are unsympathetic and unprofessional. Poorly managed viewing service and funeral not to mention rushed burial service where the staff opted to place the coffin on to the plot instead of the family's pall bearers. Wild not recommend to any family looking for quality arrangements.
