My sisters passing was so sudden and unexpected, and we had absolutely nothing planned from funeral home to cemetery. We decided to go with Farenga funeral home. I worked with John who made every step of the process easy. He was caring and understanding, never pushy, and always gave me and my family our time to make decisions. He was able to accommodate everything we asked for and never said no to a request. We didn’t even have a cemetery set up and because the death happened over a weekend it was difficult to try and get in touch with someone. He was able to connect me with a cemetery that was close to us which was extremely important. John is extremely professional, but most importantly extremely caring. He made planning my younger sisters funeral so easy and allowed me time with my parents to grieve. If unfortunately you have to plan a funeral for a loved one, please go to John at Farenga Funeral Home, it’ll be one less stress of your shoulders for sure. Thank you John
I can't imagine that there is a better funeral home in the near vicinity or the state. They are extremely helpful, very responsive to emails/calls and very accommodating. They truly make a difficult experience easier to handle from an administrative perspective. They are also leaders in shipping loved ones to Europe. One of the best customer service companies I've run across!
John Falidas- a simple "thank you" doesn't seem to be enough to express our deepest appreciation for your graciousness, professionalism, respect, kindness, acceptance of our grief, and most importantly the care and respect you gave to our mom and our dad a few years ago. You've made this sad and painful transition for us into a special time to be remembered fondly. You readiness to take care of all the small details was so helpful for us in trying to understand and "take care of " all the things needed to get done. Your team was also professional and respectful in their services. A heartfelt "thank you" also to Thomas Antonopoulos whose initial guidance and kindness through this time was immeasurable.
Excellent services for my mom recently through Farenga Funeral Home. Everyone was kind, professional, and responsive. John Falidas was extremely helpful in attending to our needs and requests. When my mom passed away in 2021 I had a horrible experience with Danny. My dad passed a year later and I empathized how I didn’t want him to approach me during my time there. John went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. Unfortunately I can’t say the same for when I had Danny. He was rude and when we arrived for the wake more then half of the pixs weren’t up and the slide show was never reviewed to make sure that the pixs were going the right way. My sons had to go to staples to get another board for the pictures and when they came back with it I was told they found another to use. Very unprofessional and I complained numerous time about Danny.
They put their logo on the prayer cards. Extremely distasteful. Other than that they are ok. I just don’t understand how they think they can advertise on some token of remembrance, it’s beyond me.
If you are reading this review, you probably just had someone close to you die, and you are feeling overwhelmed with the responsibility of planning a wake and funeral. I can tell you without reservation that Farenga Funeral Home is the company you should use. From the first phone call, Farenga was professional, courteous, caring, and upfront. Our licensed funeral director, Bill, made the process easy, much easier than I had imagined it would be. He explained everything, never pressured us, presented us with options, and was just a pleasure to work with from start to finish. The wake and funeral were handled beautifully. We sent our loved one off with dignity. I chose Farenga based on its excellent Google reviews, so I wanted to add one more review to help make your choice easier. They are the best.

Two weeks ago, my father passed away suddenly at home in his sleep. I chose Farenga for my Father on the recommendation of my Uncle who has experience with them before and I would have no hesitation to refer Farenga to anyone moving forward, I have never second guessed this decision. Amidst an incredible chaotic morning, John showed up at our home and very professionally and courteously handled the passing of my father. He was thorough and explained the process, gave me a clear outline of what would happen next. This was the first time in my life I was directly handling something like this and every time that I called with a question or information request, the staff was incredibly helpful, and got back to me quickly. I cant tell you the relief it provides not to have to be waiting around. When I went to Farenga to finalize the paperwork and our plans for my fathers wishes, Bill was incredible to work with. He made the morning comfortable for me, helped me to understand everything that had happened, what needed to happen, and how we were going to get there. Bill took the time to explain every line of paperwork and how it related to my situation. What anxiety I walked into Farenga with was quickly dispelled, what ever ideas that I had devised about how this entire process would go was made infinitely easier by the Farenga team. I could never thank them enough for how easy they made one of the hardest moments of my life.
My family and I can’t say enough about the compassionate, caring, respectful, and friendly staff of Farenga Funeral Home. They made a very difficult and challenging time easier to handle. Every member of the team went above and beyond to make us comfortable and greatly exceeded our expectations. Every detail was meticulously handled. These days it’s difficult to find the exemplary personal customer service that we received at Farenga Funeral Home. Always a pleasure working with a family-owned and operated local business. The Funeral Home inside and out is immaculate and very comfortable. Having a parking lot is extremely convenient as well. In the future, our family would have no hesitation calling on Farenga Funeral Home again should the need arise.
