Very affordable even while scrambling to find somewhere on short notice. Upon arrival, Jeff helped us with everything from spotting us for backing in, information for things nearby and even going ABOVE and BEYOND to help with a little extra accommodation for our space. The view we had was awesome overlooking Crowley Lake and was a nice central location to everywhere we wanted to go. The showers had great pressure and weren't too far from us and all of our neighbors nearby were nice and friendly.
Very quiet and peaceful. Great location near Mammoth and the Mammoth area. Nice spot for our 35' Trailer.Service: 5/5
Brought our motor home and had a great view of the lake. There's a lot to see there, they rent boats or you can bring your own. Hiking, fishing and relaxing were the main activities. There a great store across the street it also has a restaurant in there if you don't want to cook. Great people run the park.Service: 5/5
We stayed at this park 4 nights. Before our stay, we had questions and had a very difficult time reaching anyone via phone to answer questions. This is not really a “campground” as one would think. More of a full-time campground with permanent cabins and trailers with a few open spaces for “visitors”, therefore, the office is not occupied on a full-time basis. Full-time camper sites are not well kept and pretty much an eye-sore. Our site faced the main road directly across from a busy store/gas station. Not a peaceful site. Thankfully, we went on daily excursions and were not at our campsite much of the day, only for breakfast, dinner and to sleep. If you’re looking for a campsite with amenities and things to do, this is NOT for you. Next time, we’ll move on down the road and find a more appealing campground such as McGee Creek RV Park which is just a short drive to the north.
Recently stayed a week there. I checked in and was assigned a spot in a grassy area. I had difficulties setting up my fifth wheel because the ground was wet and my jacks and tires sank into the ground and I couldn't level up. I asked for assistance and Jeff the park manager was very helpful. We had no luck so he reassigned me to another spot. Jeff assisted me with parking into my new spot which was very helpful. I asked to stay an additional day and he was able to accommodate me. I could see Crowley lake out the back and see a mountain top from the front. We had a small brook running behind me as well which was kinda neat. Close drive to Convict Lake, Rock Creek lake and mammoth. Thanks Jeff
This rv park/campground was absolutely perfect! There are 4 tent camping spots on a big grassy section of the rv park. There was only 1 tree in the center of the lot but it was off to the edge, so there wasnt much shade. If you're going to be spending a significant amount of time at the campground, I would suggest an ez-up or something for shade. No trees meant we were able to see the millions of stars though! No firepits, but they did have a half barrel type bbq we used for a fire at night. Great location, close to the lake about a mile. If you're looking to go to the columns, they are around the other side of the lake, so you'll likely want to drive. The trailhead to the columns is about a 30 minute drive from the campground. The general store across the street has literally everything, from fresh muffins and cookies made in-house to fishing gear and souvenirs. 10/10!
Loved our stay here, RV hook ups, snow capped mountains, lake view from our site. Beautiful stop in the mountains outside of mammoth. Warm showers. They also had tent camping spots with lake view. I wish I knew the name of the person that checked us in and checked on us. So nice, helpful, happy.
Very clean and the people running it were very friendly. Spaces are very small and close together. It's a mix of vacationers and full time tenants. Some built in tiny houses. Quite and overall nice place unless you want to spend a lot of time in your camp site.
Thank you for letting us stay here in our tiny home! The owner was very welcoming and the rv park was great during our visit in January. Facilities were clean and well-maintained. Conveniently off of 395, we were able to get to hot springs, Convict Lake, Mammoth Mountain and June Mountain without issues. Whole lotta snow - great time.
It's a good place to get away from city for a few days and fishing. only bad thing is on opening day in late aprial the price goes up 3 times the amount
