Crystal Cove Dog Park

Beautiful setting, though when we stopped by after meeting up with a friend for lunch in Dana Point, there were only a few other pups there... and somehow there wasn't a hint of breeze hitting that whole stretch of grass presumably because it's tucked in/lower than where the ocean breeze was coming from at that time?, so it was brutally HOT at the time of afternoon we were there- though could only handle staying briefly, maybe 20min? I must admit I'd had higher hopes for this spot when searching the area for Dog Parks... but it may be better at other times of day? Or if we lived anywhere nearby...

I'ma be honest, it is small, and the view from the actual enclosed dog park is not great at all. The park is better with good grass but the dog park it self has alot of dirt and mud. Honestly not worth the drive

only 4 stars because there's no water fountain available for the dogs, so be sure to bring some. other than that, it's a pretty big fenced off grassy area for dogs to play. the scenery is pretty nice near the ocean.

4 stars because it’s smaller and no water for the dogs, other than that the views are INCREDIBLE and it’s in a beautiful spot. I live about 8 minutes away and I’d have to say it’s the best dog park within that distance from me. Otherwise I’d say go La Paws is where it’s at!

This is a small sized dog park with a beautiful ocean view. Obviously built after some kind of an agreement with the developer of the homes that overlook the park. No dedicated parking but street parking was available a short walk away. No bathrooms or amenities of any kind that I could see, made me sad because I rolled up after an hour plus rush hour drive from San Diego but I get it.

Beautiful grass and ocean views. Unfortunately, the small dog fun zone was closed when I went. Street parking in the neighborhood.

Tried to take our pup here on Christmas Day but the park was locked up. Why would the park be closed just because it’s Christmas?? Totally ridiculous

Great place to take the dogs, its enclosed, they can run & get the ball

No water for dogs but they do provide bags
