Breakfast was quick and delicious. The oatmeal was hot and filling. The parfait fruit cups were a nice touch. Came back for the zucchini bread and those super yummy cappuccino cupcakes!
Our waiter was so nice and really working his butt off! I was so happy to see a vegan option on the menu, which was the vegan avocado tacos. They were very interesting and delicious, but a small portion. The outside seating here is really nice.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: Yes
We were originally planning to go to the area beside the outdoor seating for Outer Reef and have some wine and an appetizer, as we had a few weeks ago. That area is now taken over completely by the Outer Reef for reserved dining, so not available to us. The Vue is on the upper deck and still has a nice view of the ocean and you can hear any music that might be playing down below. We decided to have some crab cakes, which were just fine although really costly, and the grilled romaine salad with added salmon. The latter dish was distinctly sub-standard. The waitress did not return with the check so I could not tell her, so I just wrote on the payment slip that the salad was not good. The caesar dressing was thin and bland - any number of bottled dressings are far better. There was just a small piece of grilled romaine and it was limp. The rest of the chopped romaine was not fresh. The salmon was overcooked. NOT at all what I would have expected from an establishment that hosts the Outer Reef, which is an exceptional restaurant.
Decent/reasonably priced food. The service was fine not the best, not the worst. We had dinner in the upstairs portion of the restaurant.
Service wasn't great, but I think the server was new. It was high priced and not very tasty. There was a great view though!
Really good food. Horrible service. For a nice restaurant with expensive food, you expect a certain level of service. They seemed very disorganized. They had trouble finding the host to seat us. I received water from two different people in two different glasses and then water was never offered again. Slow getting our food and then our server was nowhere to be found. It took about 40 min. After we finished our meal to get the bill putting the card on the table did not help. I won't be going back.
The food was very good. The tables were close together and the people next to us were extremely load. They made us use valet parking and it was extremely expensive. The atmosphere was poor. I have been to many places in the area better.
You would love the complimentary bread spread: sundried tomatoes with calamite olive. The best there is. I had the coffee crusted rib eye steak. I havent tasted or seen rib eye cooked like this. I rate it 8/10. I also also tried their lobster tail which was very good.
Really bad service, even though we were one of 3 tables! Brought it to the managers attention, "wow that's unusual we always have good reviews". I guess she should check Google. Restaurant blows service wise. Food was good though, but the service totally ruined the experience.
Restaurant is located in the hotel and has indoor and outdoor parts with breathtaking vews of harbor. Food is great. Prices except for large dishes are good.
