I was a medic in the military for 9 years. I was told I shouldn't touch the cuff on my arm, and was deferred for 30 days, because I touched it after it began hurting beyond my ability to stay calm. This was after the cuff was inappropriately placed TWICE. Then I was lied to at the end of my visit by their nurse who told me not to touch the cuff again even after the machine had finished entirely. Its no longer working at that point and the nurse was butt hurt, and retaliated against me for doing something in my best interest at little to no cost to anyone else. They have poor service and shouldn't be allowed to be doing this under their current supervision. I know garbage when I see it. I intend on reporting to the BBB, because this type of unjust lying and griping about things that aren't policy to begin with is messed up and deserves nothing but complaints. I'd give a zero if I could.
I had the pleasure of being treated by Nurse Tyler during my recent visit to the hospital, and I cannot praise her enough for her exceptional customer service and care. Despite her youthful appearance, Tyler's professionalism, knowledge, and compassion far exceeded my expectations. From the moment I entered the hospital, Tyler greeted me with a warm smile and made me feel instantly at ease. She took the time to listen attentively to my concerns, asking detailed questions to ensure she had a comprehensive understanding of my medical history. Tyler's ability to empathize and connect with her patients is truly remarkable. Throughout my time with Tyler, she consistently displayed an impressive level of expertise. Her medical knowledge was evident as she explained the procedures and treatments to me in a clear and concise manner. She patiently answered all my questions, providing reassurance and ensuring I felt comfortable with the care plan. What truly sets Tyler apart is her unwavering dedication to her patients. She went above and beyond to ensure that I received the best care possible. Despite a busy schedule, she never made me feel rushed or unimportant. Tyler's attention to detail was evident in the way she meticulously monitored my condition, promptly addressing any concerns that arose. Moreover, Tyler's positive and caring attitude had a significant impact on my overall experience. She consistently radiated kindness and made me feel like I was her top priority. Her genuine compassion and ability to comfort patients is truly commendable. In addition to her outstanding clinical skills, Tyler also excelled in her communication with the healthcare team. She collaborated seamlessly with doctors, specialists, and other staff members, ensuring a coordinated and efficient approach to my treatment. Her professionalism and teamwork were evident in every interaction. I wholeheartedly recommend Nurse Tyler to anyone in need of medical care. Her exemplary customer service, extensive knowledge, and compassionate approach make her an invaluable asset to the healthcare profession. Tyler's dedication to her patients and her genuine commitment to providing exceptional care truly sets her apart. Thank you, Tyler, for making my hospital experience a positive one! Registration as a new donor takes a bit of time. Then, as a returning donor, you wait in the vitals line for up to 30 minutes for me so far but it definitely can be longer I've seen. There are a lot of donors and I'm glad they're safe. The donation floor is a bit intense. It seems rushed, but hey not enough people, I get it. But they're still there to help when you need it. I will continue to give plasma.
If I can give a zero star I would I went for my first donation. The nurse stuck me wrong as a natural reaction. I jumped and moved her arm away from me. The lady said that she felt threatened, which she shouldn’t have considering I reassured her that it was fine. I even have cleaned up my own blood. I never got escorted out of the premises. I thought everything was fine. They told me that my next donation, which was. two days from February 14 I ended up going back on the 19th because I wanted the bruising on my arm to heal. Once I went back I was notified by the manager that the lady said that she felt threatened and she put me on the do not register list for that location only but once I went to another location in Calumet Park, I was told due to the comments that the manager put on my fail I’m unable to donate period I ask if I can get a copy of the video for my own proof and I was refuse. I was told that I don’t have a lawyer, which is not any of you guys business, but it is a defamation of character. I called the corporate office they said that they didn’t want to lose me as a donor, but they refuse to help me with my situation.
Wait 2 hours as a new donor an still didn't see someone to get evaluated. It's not even busy just VERY understaffed!!!
Get paid to be a hero! I have donated to CSL Plasma since for 10 years. The staff here are helpful and polite! You get $70 fir your first 5 donations with bonus $ as well! The facility is clean and they ensure your have a safe and speedy donation! If your looking to make extra cash and help lives this is your place to go!
I was nervous about the entire procedure, but it was cool thanks to the staff. Really big thanks to Kiarra. Sorry if I misspelled your name.
It’s been while since I’ve been, but the place was really clean. Had a good atmosphere. Staff was polite. Only thing I wish is that they told you that there is a weight capacity in order to donate. I found answers to all my questions on the website except the weight guidelines. So call before you go. I drove almost an hour went through all the pre screening that took about an hour, just to be told I couldn’t because of my weight. Other than that I had no other issues.
When I 1st started donating here, they had a great staff, the payouts were really good and they used to offer some decent perks. But now...they taken away all of the perks the used to offer...and in the past 3 months have now reduced the payouts. The staff are still great people who try to do their best and deserve to be recognized. They DO NOT appreciate the donors no more at all. If you are looking to donate to earn extra $$$ this is no longer the place to go. And they're getting ready to cut the payouts again as of March 4th, even though they've already started doing it!!!
I am very dissatisfied, with the service that I received today October 10, 2021. I was at the facility from 9:30 AM completed the entire process to only find out from Beau A.k.a. the medical professional at 11:11 am that I was unable to complete or donate plasma because of two mosquito bites. The staff needs to be better trained and better informed in order to assist the customers so they are not wasting their time. The video does not explain to you that mosquito bites they consider Bruising. I would highly discourage the Hazel crest facility even though it is a well established location for the following reasons. 1. Understaffed 2. Poor customer service 3. Poor professionalism 4. Lack of knowledge and awareness on requirements.
