The staff were very friendly and helpful. My daughter wanted to learn how to set up her own tank and get a leopard gecko. She got such great support, supplies and insight from the staff. The gecko is beautiful and I am so glad we found them. We set up our own tank with their support. If I did it again, I’d get one of the custom made ones for sure, they’re incredible!
Excellent reptile shop. The owner, John is incredibly hands on with everything in the shop. He knows the history of the reptiles he sells & has multiple different morphs. Opposed to other shops that ship on their feeders, the feeders are all bred in house, so you know exactly where they're coming from and what they're fed. I definitely recommended Avalon Exotics for anyone looking for an exotic reptile, whether it be their first or 10th.
I’ve heard so many good things about Avalon Exotics, I decided to check it out myself. The owner, John was so helpful, knowledgeable and kind! I’ll definitely be back to grab more tarantulas. So happy I finally stopped in. Thanks again!
I was amazed at the wide selection of bearded dragons, frogs, other exotic pets, and accessories. The owners John and Heather were very friendly. John is amazing at making customers made terrarium enclosures. I'm a new bearded dragon owner and John provided me a lot of great tips for raising my little beardie.
John and Heather are both amazing. They took care of my female beardie while I was deployed for 3 months. She came back to me healthier than I left her. I go to them for moat of my reptile needs. I enjoy supporting a small business especially when they care so much about what they do.
Great guys who do amazing work!! I ordered a large custom enclosure with a waterfall for my biak green tree python and it was more than I could ask for. I have fallen in love with it and it fits the aesthetic of my living room while adding tranquil vibes. There are so many different plants, vines, bamboo, wood, and moss it's beautiful; my snake looks peaceful in it. I cannot wait to order my next custom build, thank you so much!!
I visited for the first time recently and was amazed by all the happy little critters and knowledgeable workers that inhabited the shop. I've been wanting tree frogs for a while now but was uncertain about how to put together an enclosure suitable for them. I was very easily able to have all of my questions answered and put in a request for a custom bioactive vivarium that same day! All the ones in the shop looked absolutely fantastic so I am so excited to get my own! I will definitely be purchasing my frogs from here as well with the confidence that they'll have been well nurtured and cared for beforehand. Highly recommend going here for any of your critter or enclosure needs.
This is an absolutely amazing pet store. Great people who were extremely nice and knowledgeable. John answered all of my questions and helped me pick out a Russian tortoise along with an enclosure and all other necessities. I can't wait to pick her up! Highly recommend Avalon Exotics.
Excellent selection of exotic reptiles amphibians and more. Mom and Pop shop with a very knowledgeable dedicated staff. Highly recommend checking this place out. Awesome homemade well put together terrariums as well. Definitely touch this place out
If you're looking to purchase a bioactive terrarium this is the place to go. Get a great selection of live animals and terrarium supplies here or get a great premade setup. The other is knowledgeable and very helpful. I would definitely check them out for your reptile and amphibian needs
