The embassy has not been open since March of 2020 and there is NOTHING that indicates that any where. So after flying here from California to get some papers authenticated I was sent around the corner to an outside agency to pay 450.00 for the service that should have costed 105.00. Do not Go here they are not open look for a document services that handles business with the consulate and save your self the frustration and money a ticket would cost.
Totally ridiculous they supposedly offer services that when you get there or never provided complete waste of time. There is no purpose. They never answer emails or phone calls.
A total joke, lack of respect to our country and to the people. They rarely answer, always giving terrific excuses. Not helpful at all.
So far I have a very bad experience with them, they made my passport wrong, when I tried to notify them they do not answer neither the calls or the e-mails, it took time in this situation I could only contact them once by messenger on their Facebook page and according to them they are reprinting but they have never answered my messages.
Wow. Customer service is nonexistent at this place. I was looking to legalized some US forms and I mailed the forms with payment including the certified translation. It has been 6 weeks and nothing. I have called countless times and emailed. I have decided to stop payment on the money order. I have also made the decision to fly to DC and do this in person. My plan is for next month. I will give a detailed description and update of the process after I return.
I was in belive that there was no Embassy worse than the Bosnian. Congratulation to the employees of Cuban Embassy. You took the first place. You can not get a phone call, email or fax answered if your life depended on it. Doesn't matter if you are caller 4, 3, 2, 1 or 1 milion they do not answer. The person at extension 100 is always bussy,, probably drinking that good Cuban coffee and enjoying what diplomatic salary is paying now days...I feel bad for the Cuban people and the misery they live on that beautiful Island. This shows in the representation of their Country on foreign ground and how helpful they are. If a picture is worth 1000 words this picture of a Country's representation says it all. Planed a trip to Cuba but do to their ignorance that will have to be canceled. Did anyone ever managed to get their phone calls answered?
Cuban embassy employees seem to be too dumb to figure out how to set up their phone system. Options offered are either invalid or make you go in circles.
Unbelievable!..It's disgusting how this embassy work..if they are working!..because ..Who knows? Take forever for them to answer the phone..usually they don't answer the phone..NEVER !
I'm trying to call to figure out the process to get my passport and I cannot get a hold of them for the last 2 weeks. Why do you have a phone number if you are not picking up calls?!
This place just have 1 telephone number and never answered it. I ask to renovate my passport and 2 month later i don't get any answers. The cost of the cuban passport is $450 dollars. Please, you need a better Client Service and cut waiting times. Thanks
