Cuban Mojo's in Crawfordville

Decent food but if you want a drink and side be prepared to pay double the price on the menu..

The ropa vialla was really good but the chicken was bland and dry. Service was good and the beer was cold but the food was only so so.

I went here for the first time and was surprised at the selection on the menu. I ended up getting the Cuban sandwich and it was great. I also really enjoyed the atmosphere. There were plenty of places to sit. We had a group of 9 people who came in at differing times and were able to expand our table as more people arrive. The service was good. I got one of their take home menus to show my wife. We will be back maybe for dinner. I also heard that the wings are great. I recommend this establishment.

So fun! Great food! Still learning to make mojitos though, they'll get it! Call ahead for large parties 6 or more...and it is a seat yourself and order yourself place. **update 12/12/18 They now have waitresses which is great and less confusing than before. The $5 lunch menu is a great option. BUT.. as much as I dislike leaving negative reviews, especially when it is a local establishment that I would love to see flourish and would love to be a part of it, I have to leave a bad one. I go regularly, meaning at least once a month if not twice or more. For lunch. And over the last 6 months the food is hit-or-miss. If yesterday had been my first time there I would not go back. I don't know what is going on with the whole cook or Chef situation, but it is not good Cuban food. It used to be! And I've had great Cuban food all over the state of Florida. I feel bad leaving this review because the atmosphere is great, the restaurant is a cool place to be but the food is little to be desired. I hope the owners can fix the situation because I'm not the only person around here with this opinion now. And it's sad.

Omg best Cuban sandwich me and the hubby have had! All the food was so delicious and felt fresh. The only problem the wait for it specially if you have little kids and they are hungry and it’s busy. Even the kids food was made fresh. They loved eating the pork beans and rice I was a happy momma! I’m coming here again every time we pass through going to the beach hopefully service is a little bit faster

I too was disappointed in the food service. Our server John was nice and upfront about the wait due to a large party of 12 at once. We put in our order immediately and it was nearly an hour to get our food. My guess is the cook is struggling with timing multiple orders. The croquettes were hot, but our steak and tostones were barely warm. The rice and black beans were the saving grace from an even lower review. Staff came to the tables to apologize for the long wait. There was never a water refill. I hope they can overcome the service issues since there aren't any Cuban alternatives I know of in this area.

It’s extremely sad that such a great restaurant has gone down the drain. I used to eat at Cuban Mojos several times a month before they moved, and the food was amazing. When my first few visits were bad, I chalked it up to growing pains. Many months later, they still seem not to have the hang of it. The service is awful and food is no longer flavorful. They usually offer to comp an item when you have a bad experience, but all I want is decent service and good food, and I’m more than willing to pay the price for that. We waited to place our order, waited at the counter for someone to come, and then, when we were finally able to get someone to take the order, they redirected us to sit down and advised that someone would come take the order at the table. We waited for the table to be bussed and then sat for over 10 minutes while several customers placed orders at the counter. No one ever came back to our table- not even for a drink order. When we got up and walked out, the server that was supposed to take our order didn’t even acknowledge us as we walked by her. What a waste of time.

Tried a new dish thanks to the suggestion of my waitress, Hannah, who went above and beyond for our group. The food she suggested The Healthy Bowl was so good! Hannah was so nice and even with the odd flow of our group coming in at different times she made sure we were all taken care of. Highly recommend Cuban Mojos! I’d ask for Hannah as a waitress! She was great!

Start with the good, our waitress and her service were good and the prices were very reasonable. The food was ok, the meat was a little dry and the black bean side was very plain. Our drinks from the bar though, my beer order got lost to another table before it was replaced and the wine my wife ordered was delivered as a margarita before it was corrected. Overall, a nice atmosphere but they have some corrections to do in the kitchen and bar

Love this place. There are surprisingly good dishes on the menu. This time I ordered the black bean burgers expecting a generic patty, but I got an obviously made-from-scrath patty with grilled onions and an awesome garlic cilantro sauce. I should have take a picture but I was hungry....
