You can tell that this place has been hit bit the budget cuts. They replaced the restroom doors with a 99 cent plastic suspended on a string...
Basketball courts are not maintenance well enough, the baseball field needs grass and restrooms needs a LOT MAINTENANCE.
Park is okay but parking is bad. There's a group of men in the parking lot on Santa Ana that are there every Sunday, drinking and playing in a parking stall. They get upset if you try to park there, they stand on the parking stall and tell you things. Police never come by, no one checks! These guys have all kids of beer, they have a party and no one says anything
My dog Max loves to go to the park. I had my wedding reception at BEDWELL HALL in 8/73. Cudahy Park is close and quiet most of the time.
Big open area for the kids to play in and a mini skate park.
Great little park to go spend the afternoon with family and friends. Has a small skate park and pretty big fields to throw the good ol pigskin around. Great overall park except for the teenager's smoking pot in the skate park area.
I am extremely disappointed on how much the city if Cudahy has neglected this park. It surprises me even more because city hall and the library are at this park. The bathrooms are disgusting. The esthetic of the park is very poor to say the least. I wish it would get the attention it deserves.
Needs STAFF members. Dirty toilets. No sense of community. They can take a few lesson from the city of Bell. Kids on roof of building. Snack bar is always closed. City needs a new parks and recreation manager. Follow the money trail. Its a good size park, skate borad area. Tennis courts, basketball courts. Parking. Library. Play ground area. But no representation from the city. This is not to say that the people dont care. They do a good job keeping the peace. T
The city park has some very dirty restrooms; I've seen neighbouring cities with nicer public restrooms. They look and smell absolutely horrific.
Cudahy is one of the most quirky and hidden small towns I've visited. That's a compliment! It's funny, I've been in this community dozens of times throughout my life over the years. But I've visited the library, or let alone the park, until month ago. Yet again, I've discovered some unique gems that adds a special charm to any community. This park is smaller in contrast to Salt Lake Park or Furman Park. However, this site is nearby the L.A. River, a few American Craftsman homes, an elementary school, City Hall and Public Library. Additionally, there's a small skatepark, basketball court, River Bike Pathway, Baseball Field, and Children's Play Section. Overall, it's a decent park and at night, you're able to view the Schutlz Steel Factory from afar and the cars passing to Bell from the bridge.
