Cumberland Farms

Description

Cumberland Farms makes life easier for busy people every day. What started in 1939 with a cow and a dream has grown into a network of convenience stores across eight states. Three generations later, Cumberland Farms is still family owned and operated, and continues to reflect the values it was built upon: envisioning a better way to serve customers by providing the best possible products at the best possible prices.

Whether you're buying a cold Chill Zone fountain drink, a hot or iced cup of Farmhouse Blend Coffee, or filling the gas tank, convenience and customer service are key. Cumberland Farms also has a long heritage of giving back to the communities where it operates, from feeding the hungry and serving the disabled, to supporting local sports teams and fundraising.

Very rude Workers. They need more training in customer service and the shakes area.
Gas prices shown as you pull up to the gas station are 10 cents lower than what you see if you are not a member. For someone visiting this place for the first time it was an unpleasant surprise. I came to get gas, not to play these marketing games. Left without filling up. The ladies room did not have a bathroom tissue and seat covers there were empty containers for them though. It was on a busy Saturday afternoon. Not a good experience. Management of this place is lacking management skills, in my humble opinion.
The prices at this Cumbys are regularly 10 to 30 cents higher than the other same brand gas stations in the area, such as the ones in Uxbridge or in Rockdale. It is impossible to exit the parking lot at certain times of day due to the traffic lights and near constant construction in the area. Hopedale would be better off if this building was torn down to make enough space for a turn lane.
We bought food such as pizza pie, Mac and cheese bites and few snacks. While getting our food ready this lady employee or manager just kept having a dull face instead of welcoming people. Since our journey was long we wanted to use restroom which were open when we arrived. And to be specific instead of being rude we also bought some food and snacks from there. Once I went into the bathroom, this lady employee followed me, and added signs of bathroom closure when there was nothing wrong with it. Now let me remind you my dad is diabetic and my husband had urgency to use bathroom also. She followed me to bathroom and was just surrounding me and it made me feel very awkward. Then I came out of the bathroom where the signs were put although bathrooms were just fine. Then my dad being diabetic with health conditions had bathroom urgency. And same for my husband. My dad used it either way as a diabetic patient can’t hold due to health conditions. Now when my husband was trying to go she jumped upon the countertop and ran behind him yelling that bathrooms are closed and he can’t use it. Which was straight up rude and discrimination on her part as an employee infect she passed that limit when she was giving the stare while making our food. I have worked at a pharmacy and being a pharmacist if there is emergency no one should be told not to use the bathrooms even if they are only for employees. Huge grocery stores such as Whole Foods don’t do that even in times like Covid. I reported her behavior in this case because of her bad customer service where people with health problems have to suffer. She is only an employee and should only do customer service instead of following customers using bathroom and close it immediately. She should know how to do her job. Because honestly we felt very discriminated by her rude service. I will be waiting for the reply towards this situation. As just like us there are many more out there who will be affected if this kind of rude behavior kept going on. Also not to forget mentioning her staring at us made me very uncomfortable too. It felt like she never seen brown people before.
Your typical convenience store. Overpriced. But when you need something .. you need something .
It's clean like most of the Cumberland farms. But, at 5:30 in the morning, there was nothing made for breakfast on the shelves. That was extremely disappointing.
This place has not maintained their handicap parking signs very well in the past. Vines had grown all over the one on the wall so it was barely visible. What was on the pavement was worn away. Yet we got a parking ticket!
Such nice staff, great selection, overall a very clean and well-maintained store.
Really disappointing to show up here looking for breakfast on the way into work after 6am and there are no sandwiches made.
I live cumbys Always a quick trip, I know where everything is, staff is always helpful.
