Just read the reviews, my experience was consistent with many of the other reviews...I never did get the wheel I ordered. Two stars because they were polite and seemed knowledgeable on the phone, but the experience cost me a month of waiting and finally I had to just cancel the order. The hell of it was, after waiting a month and not getting the part, I called another Company Steiner...ordered the part...had a tracking number that same day...and had the wheel in about 4 days total. I was surprised to see all negative reviews, but I guess they are deserved.
DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!! Still waiting for my parts to arrive and has been 32+ days since the order was placed and after many phone calls to inquire, the parts have been in stock the whole time but they just can't seem to figure out how to ship those parts to me. From the time the order was placed, the website said that a receipt will be sent to my email, don't count on it though and you won't get one. Customer service was the worst with many people on different dates. Trying to get a status is like pulling teeth. In the end, you will probably be like me, calling your credit card company and requesting a charge back and then calling the state Attorney General to report them for FRAUD since they take your money and never ship you anything. If you do business with them, I wish you the best of luck. Can't say I didn't warn you.
Restoration Supply debited my card when I placed my order. After six weeks I called and asked about my order. I was told it would probably ship they next day. I called again a week later and was told they still did not have the part so I cancelled my order and ask for a refund. They kept $8.99 and gave me no explanation why. This is BS! I have purchased tractor parts from restoration supply for years. They have an excellent easy to use website. And I have found that quality of parts is superior to many other after market suppliers. Sometimes you do have to wait awhile to receive an order, but the quality of the parts makes it worthwhile
IN May 2015 I ordered a carb for my 640 Ford tractor. When I tried to install it I found the inlet threads all messed up. Had to have it Ctrsk and retreaded. When tried it the gas poured out the split line. I returned the part and had to pay shipping out of my pocket to return the defective part. Very difficult people to work with. Before warned the you will be armed.
Never received part and they will not reply to email or phone call. Worst online ordering experience I've ever had!
I have gotten excellent response and correctness of order now and previously. I will use them again! John Sutton
