Everyone at Cutler O’Neill are compassionate and professional human beings. They walked me through the entire process with kindness and respect and made me feel like family. My mother passed away and they were the ones on-call to get her body. They wanted me to pay over $3,500 just to cremate her with no memorial services. I made an initial payment to them, and they called me a week later with the exact words "Hey, we're going to need more money." This place will rob you and they take advantage of being on call. The cremation services alone were only $400 and everything else was their overhead fees to stay open.

Every part of my family’s experience with Steve/Matt O’Neill and the staff at the funeral home was very professional and comforting with the feeling of a personal connection. They made every effort to give us comfort at a hard time for our family.
Last November I lost both of my parents three weeks apart. They lived in Arizona but they were buried in Iowa. Steve O'NEILL, well really qll the staff were so wonderful to my family. I only had to make one phone call and they got everything in motion to get my parents home. That was a process in and of itself. Arizona is not very fast in getting things done. Steve was very kind and patient. When mom's death certificate was wrong Mr Cutler called Arizona himself and started the process to get it fixed. They even checked to see how I was doing the other day. Definitely love these people!!
I lost my boyfriend three weeks ago. Cutler-O'Neill happened to be the funeral home on call and they took possession of his body. I called them later that morning and identified myself to the receptionist, explained that my boyfriend had passed and that he was currently at their funeral home. Her response was "okay" nothing else, not an I'm sorry for your loss or how can I help you, literally just okay and a long awkward silence until I finally said "I've never lost a boyfriend before, I don't know what to do" then she said "hang on" and transferred me to a man who didn't bother to identify himself and only cared about when I could come in. I did set an appointment but after thinking about how I was treated I didn't want them to handle my boyfriend's needs. I reached out to Hoy-Kilnoski and the difference in how I was treated was night and day. I did contact Cutler O'Neill to cancel my appointment and was told "okay" and then hung up on. Six days later I received a flyer from them addressed to my boyfriend's "family" inviting us to a seminar to help plan our final wishes. I called to request to be removed from their mailing list and was initially told that would not be possible because it is based off of zip code and they had no control over who received their flyers. I found that odd since I have lived at this address for four years but never received anything from them until my boyfriend passed. I would expect a funeral home of all places to be a little more sympathetic to someone's loss. What a horrible way to do business
