The pharmacy canceled my appointment upon my arrival despite me getting both an email and a text reminder notification one hour beforehand, two days beforehand, and four days beforehand. The pharmacist said they were short staffed and were shutting down early - which I completely understand- but she failed to notify me despite telling me she has cancelled all vaccine appointments for the week. I had to show her my reminders and my lack of cancellations for her to acknowledge that she must not canceled mine but that it was probably a system or “IT issue.” I left work early to make this appointment work and could’ve easily and happily made other arrangements if they’d just let me know of the cancellation in advance.
First off I’d like to say, the pharmacy at this place is the most horrible & they don’t care about one thing at all we can be standing in line and they walk right by us and don’t even say a word or acknowledge anyone. That is not the way to treat customers who need their medicine. I have been trying to get my medicine since the 29th of August and they can’t do it because my doctor is also a NP and he’s been the one sending my medicine in and they cannot give my medicine because in the state of DE a nurse can’t do it, but how come last month I was able to get the same medicine by the same person who is trying to put my medicine through. Explain that please.
I am a handicap person who needs to use the drive-thru pickup. I use the Rehoboth location. I have tried on different occasions to pick up my prescriptions only to find that the pickup window is closed during designated hours. There is a sign in the window that they will help handicap persons. Today I sat at the window for 20 min. after ringing the bell several times. No one came to the window to assist me. I called the pharmacy on my cell and waited 16 min. for someone to answer. Her response was that 2 staff were out sick. Which has been the excuse in the past. Management needs to address this situation. Also, if handicap persons are not going to be served, the sign should be removed from the window. I am seriously contemplating returning to Walgreens for my needs. Carol Oliva
A medication ordered on the 6th with pick up on or before the 13th was ordered by the pharmacy on the 13th. The prescription expired on the 14th. Why did they wait until the 13th to order the medication? It is now the 19th so I have been off of my meds since the 13th. CVS never notified me that the delay would cause a problem. The pharmacist said she was sorry but that "this is a summer beach pharmacy and things like this happen." Really comforting response and appropriate sarcasm font. I have to contact my out of state MD and hope she will send in another prescription. To a different pharmacy though, I am too angry to spend any more money at this store.
No one at checkout. You can only use the horrid electronic system which never works right. This was at 1:15pm, not some off hour.
This Cvs on Sea Blossom is without a doubt the best Pharmacy in the area. Prompt service Knowledgeable service The best Problem solving servicec I have been using this store niece for one year and during this time I have never experienced a problem or delay I can't say enough good things about this store
Went to get my seasonal flu shot today. Previously saw ads that said you could make a reservation online or walk in. Sign on the entrance door says “walk ins welcome”. After standing in line for 25 minutes, I was told walk ins are only from 9:00 - 12:00 and it was 12:30. Nowhere does it say on their sign the limited hours. If I had known, I would not have gotten in line and wasted 25 minutes. I suggested they add the hours to their sign and received a very rude reply for my suggestion. Drove 5 minutes North, walked in Walgreens, and got my shot with no problem. If you go to CVS for your shot, just be aware it is limited to 9:00-12:00 even though their sign says “walk ins welcome”.
I Came in for a quick seasonal item trip and just overall the store seemed to give off a filthy vibe. Carpets seemed like they have not been cleaned in a long time. I don't use them as a pharmacy but I don't think I would give how the store looked.
Was told @230pm a post surgery prescription would be ready in 1-2 hours. The woman said they would call me when it was ready. I called @445, & was told it would be ready in about an hour. I Called again before they closed @8, & it still wasn’t ready. When I went the next morning, 2 employees crawled around on their knees for 10 minutes & couldn’t find it! It was still on the pharmacists desk. He said he left it there because he wanted to speak w/me about an allergy reference he found. I called 20 minutes later to discuss what I found, & listened to their hold music for 20 minutes before I hung up. I will never spend another dollar isn’t this terrible customer service environment. There are plenty of other drugstores in the area.
Consistently helpful, professional, and friendly staff. Very much different than other locations!
