The older reviews were harsh but many were accurate. I have been there a few times recently and happy to report it had improved tremendously. Quite a few more friendly and competent employees were available to help in the aisles and registers. Thank you Laura, you saved me a lot of time and money The store is much cleaner and the pharmacy is running much smoother. I didn't wait on line more than 2 minutes and more people were on staff at the pharmacy dept to help. This CVS seems to be working really hard to turn things around and from what I have experienced this month it is doing a good job of it. I hope it continues.
Once again, I discovered the Croton CVS pharmacy gave me incorrect dosage instructions. They are not only rude and unhelpful, but negligent. Avoid at all costs. Plus, the store itself is filthy. Just gross.
It is always a pleasant shopping experience when I visit a CVS store. The employees are usually helpful and courteous.
Do not trust this pharmacy to get your meds in a timely manner or for them to help when they don't have your meds in stock. Expect to wait a ridiculous amount of time on line when you pick up your meds if you're lucky enough to have them actually fill a script. 0.0 rating is too high of a rating for this sub par pharmacy. Pharmacy staff is GARBAGE! They are rude and lazy. They don't bother to call you or your dr when they dont have your meds even though their automated system says a date and time script will be ready. Only tell you on the day it was supposed to be ready that it is indefinitely back ordered! Shame shame shame on you CVS Croton Pharmacy! I will be switching pharmacies once they straighten out the debacle they created. My Dr had to call and change 1 script 6 times due to CVSs lack of care for their patients and customers. They even lied and said it was available at another location when it was not! They are clearly the WORST pharmacy and have the WORST customer service standards. Not to mention their store always looks like a tornado just went through it. Avoid doing any business with them as it will cause more stress and problems then its worth.
The place is okay, some cashiers are nice but the manager is rude. And i get my meds too early i have 3 bottles that i have to finish
If there was a zero rating - CVS Pharmacy at Croton on Hudson would have received such rating. It's my understanding, the manager that runs the CVS Pharmacies in the Hudson Valley has decided to remove the best pharmacist; Michelle, that not only served this community extremely well, was extremely knowledgable, super smart, very customer focused, had emotional intelligence and empathetic, worked her tail off to serve this community, and was loved by all, including the team when she was on shift. Instead, it was decided to move Michelle to another location. Michelle should be managing her own store, preferably the Croton on Hudson CVS pharmacy, hands-down! Apparently the Croton on Hudson community isn't important enough to serve it properly. Floater pharmacists couldn't care less about its customers; they are rude, some are highly unprofessional as from their work station they loudly communicate Personal and Highly confidential information about the customer for all to hear, and some are even spiteful, with the exception of the one Pharmacist from the Tarrytown location that from time to time covers at the Croton on Hudson location. There is something very wrong with breaking something that was broken in the first place. A good example is today, I've called the manager 3 times today and 3 times over the past two weeks, he doesn't have the curtesy to have his voice or name on his voicemail - no point leaving a message. What's wrong with this picture? Furthermore, I've been waiting all day for prescriptions to be filled for my husband with having to follow-up and call every few hours, I'm still waiting. People have jobs and lives and shouldn't have to contact CVS pharmacy to do theirs nor wait an entire day to have prescription filled. It's time to move my business elsewhere!
2nd CVS we tried in the last hour, on hold for quite some time and at this particular CVS they had no pharmacists? If I could tell the future I would predict that CVS will be yet another store that will be shutting down. What horrible service. Our patient needs her meds and they can't get it together enough to even take a script over the phone??? No pharmacists on location?!
Been going there for years, always polite with the staff. Today I bought my items at the back pharmacy register, went around the corner to put the items in my bag so as to avoid holding up the line, was confronted as I tried to leave by the manager & was accused of stealing, in front of the whole store. I LOST it, I did, I was FURIOUS, screaming my head off & cussing this guy out, but what he did was MESSED UP. I was shaking with adrenaline, that's how upset & offended I was. The pharmacy cashier, thank god for her, ends up explaining to him "oh yeah, no, they just paid for it", but even then he STILL insisted on searching my bag, once again, in front of a crowd. Only when he'd realized HE'D messed up, he tried to walk away like "oh nbd". No, not "nbd", YOU PUBLICLY ACCUSED ME OF STEALING WITH ZERO PROOF, DUDE and, moreover, YOU WERE W R O N G. And the audacity of this man to dismiss me as being unreasonable! No apology, no taking accountability, nada! I know full well I was profiled based on my appearance. That is beyond unacceptable. I've reported it to higher ups, put you on blast on social media & am considering a wrongful theft lawsuit. Absolutely disgusted.
very unreliable. Most pharmacies get 2 deliveries a day--AM & PM--so if they run out of an rx in the am, it'll arrive by that afternoon. If they run out in the afternoon, it'll be there next morning when they open. CVS, though? Nope. They'll have some meds not arrive for days at a time. That's DANGEROUS re: certain meds. On top of that, on multiple occasions, they've INSISTED my co-pay is something like $200. "Uhh no, my co-pays are $0-$1, you must be talking about the out of pocket pri--" "no, your insurance covered it, that's the co-pay". I call the insurance company: voila, CVS was wrong. If I hadn't looked into it, I'd have paid a ton of money for something free, that's an awful thing to do to low income individuals like the elderly. It's happened on multiple occasions. Thought that was just my experience, but a TON of people have run into the same issues. Service is also very slow, if there's 6 people waiting on line, each transaction takes AGES, even if it's just one rx, and nobody opens a 2nd register to get it moving. Maybe 1-2x out of 10 things go smoothly.
After spotting someone in the store not wearing a mask, I pointed it out to a manager who refused to enforce CVS’ own mask policy. Buyer beware, this is not a safe or sanitary place to shop in the Covid-19 era we find ourselves in.
