The last two days I have tried to pick up my prescriptions with no luck. Both days I spent more than 45 mins waiting in line but can't wait longer so I left. A bright spot is the African American gentleman that works in pharmacy. I ALWAYS see him working the drive through and the in store line. Yesterday the pharmacist was on the phone the whole time, didn't even look up and the other worker was on phone the whole time. The day before the pharmacist same story, the other employee was just standing at the drop off area and never looked or helped the in store... Give that gentleman a raise! He is the only one working.
I have been a customer of the CVS Pharmacy in Grandview, MO for over 30 years. I have always experienced great customer service... until this morning 7/25/2023 at around 9:00am. I went in for a passport photo. 2 employees were at the register. I was greeted. The employee who greeted me said she could help me with the photo, but then went to answer the phone. I spoke with the other employee who said that she was not scheduled to start work until 12:00pm. The employee on the phone was laughing which indicated to me that she might be on a personal call. I asked the other employee standing there if there was a Manager who could help as now there were 2 customers waiting in line. She said that the employee on the phone was the Manager Leslie. We waited. Leslie continued to laugh & chat.The other employee Jessica apologized for our wait and walked away. Finally, Leslie gets off the phone and I stated how rude I thought it was for her to keep customers waiting while she chatted on the phone. She said she was talking with her Store Manager & that she gives the same quality of customer service to everyone. I would like to believe that if the store manager knew there were customers waiting that she would have asked Leslie to help customers first. I purchased the photo but left feeling very frustrated. I ended up going back to the store and returning the photo as I did not want to spend my money in a place where I received such treatment. There were still no apologizes from Leslie. She expressed her frustrations over being short staffed and having "alot going on". She said that I could just sign and go for the return, promptly signing my name for me instead to expedite my departure. Wow. I went to Walgreens instead and got excellent customer service. It really does matter. Do better CVS.
loved working here, I've had the best store manager George! is really amazing he helps his employees as well as the customers which is really good considering he was my boss. My experience was really good I plan on coming back soon!
Well if you need prescriptions filled, I wouldn't exactly call this place a pharmacy. More like a zoo. Trashy, lazy, dirty, unhelpful. I actually live in Grandview for some reason, but I'll travel to Liberty Mo or Martin City to get prescriptions filled because Grandview CVS is a joke.
Medications are never filled in a timely manner. Constantly short staffed. Terrible hours that make it impossible to ever pick up my scripts as a full time employee myself. Wouldn’t let me use my GoodRx coupons when I finally did make it up there because it was “too close to close at 6PM and that takes too long”. I couldn’t ever make it up there between their 10AM - 6PM hours, so they just cancelled my prescriptions.
The worst pharmacy ever. Always long lines and 1or 2 people working. Seriously understaffed for years it seems like. Here in drive thru and they have not opened yet and it is now 8:10am. Can’t wait to change pharmacies.
The pharmac was completely rude didn't answer my questions and said she fells like she's talking to a dead horse. I'll be calling corporate and telling them what she said and tell them I have never been talking to like that before from a company that is there to help you and to answer medical questions.
Absolutely worst pharmacy. I picked up my son's med and got home they hadn't even mixed the solution. So I came home with a bottle of powder. It needed to be mixed with a solution in order to give it to my son. I went back at 608 and of course it was all closed. I had to drive around to find another cvs to fix the medication since my son had to have it that evening. Absolutely ridiculous.
On the way to pick up my RX I got a phone cal that my RX was ready. We get to the drive through and tell the employee we’re here to pick up, saying my name and date of birth. She can’t find it. I had received a text message and two phone calls about this RX being ready. She kept saying it wasn’t there then asked us to leave. I was not leaving because I had not been helped. There was clearly and issue. Called my doc office to confirm it had been sent. The manager comes over and we start again only this time she’s super rude to us. Their system changed my name to my maiden name and an address from 7 years ago. My doctor’s office couldn’t communicate with them either because they were so rude to them. If you can, go to the Walgreens just down the road.
I went to this pharmacy at 12:00 PM and they told me they had just opened at 10 but could fill my prescription in the next hour. Frustrated, but understanding, I said that I would come at the end of the day. I got to CVS at 5:30 and was told my prescription was not ready yet and they were closing so I would have to come back the next day. Super frustrated as my prescriptions included an epi-pen and pain medication. They clearly don’t have good customer service and communication.
