The staff never knows what’s going on or has the correct information. Every single month I call ahead to make sure my prescription is in stock and ready to be filled as I live an hour away, and every single month without fail they mess it up. I arrive and suddenly “there’s an issue with my prescription” and my doctor needs to call it in again. They never seem to know who gave me the go ahead, and always make me feel like it’s my fault.
I would give zero stars. Pharmacist is clueless. My Dr sent in an Rx and they wouldn't fill it because they said they needed more info. What did they need? How much to take and why.... My bottle clearly stated BOTH. I've never talked to someone so incompetent!!! Never again will I go here.
Went into this store on Sunday! Staff greeted me when I entered the store, thanked me for shopping there, offered me the care pass! I needed help locating a particular vitamin and the store manager, Tara, quickly located it for me! Thank you for all your hard work!
Cvs is horrible. Especially essex store. Also not a good place to work , all they do is lie and use you. The store manger Tara is not management material at all. She makes false statements on people. She pawns all the work on to other people and is not a good manger at all. She is really lazy. The DM kylie also lies and does not help the employees when needed. They break laws all the time. They want people who will shut up and do what your told at cvs. It is a very hostile environment. Also the store manger Tara and the pharmacy manger Jessica was going to kick someone out of the system and Tara Said she will just say she don't know what happend to that person in the system when she kicks them out. That's against the law as well. I could keep going and going but the right time will come when everything comes out!
I switched to this pharmacy in particular due to my insurance. For the most part I haven't had many issues however their policies are definitely tailored to inconvenience their customers.
For the non-pharmacy portion of the store, everything is great; however, the same cannot be said for my experiences with the pharmacy. The pharmacy manager, Jessica, was very rude when I called to inquire about a medication that I have struggled to get filled for several days now. It’s unfortunate that people can be so condescending.
Worst CVS I have ever been into! There was one poor clerk trying to help a long line of customers with complicated, time consuming coupons. Garbage is literally spread all over the parking lot and entrance to the building. This is an experience in frustrated customers and very lousy service. I will avoid this place until they succeed in hiring more help and clean up their store. What a disgrace!
Pharmacy is always understaffed and you can tell staff are overwhelmed. They have a 0 tolerance policy for harassment which is not enforced as I often see pharm-tech's being treated horribly even yelled at by frustrated customers. The insults the pharm-tech's receive from customers are often so bad that I leave and come back. Everyone is short staffed right now so I don't blame them for finding employment elsewhere. I have made 4 trips for the same prescription recently and have been unable to receive it. I haven't taken that medication in weeks because of this.
Fill your scripts any where else. It is a constant fight to get my scripts filled in a timely manner and in the fashion I need and have requested. Pharmacy staff is always incredibly rude when you make simple requests multiple times like stop giving me easy off lids. I have a toddler! Additionally, if you are already struggling to keep up with prescription requests why are vaccines even an option? If this is a service you want to provide your core customers who fill their prescriptions every month should be the priority. You should be getting additional staff to help with flu shots.
* Seriously understaffed for last 18 months * I waited 5 mins I timed it at drive thru today before even being acknowledged. Then she acted like she was doing me a favor. ,* was.tild 1 hour wait to full rx. 3 hours later they said they did not have in stock. Asked for rx back and they said they could not return. No Meds, No Return of Rx, essentially they are holding my meds hostage I have pink eye, chronic, progressive and itchy as #$%^, just WTH are these people thinking. Am officially pulling all of my scripts from CVS and migrating my monthly refills to Kinney Drug. They can have my $170/mo in business.
