"CVS Health is conducting coronavirus testing COVID-19. Tests are limited to eligible individuals in select states. Where available, anyone age 10 or older can get tested. Continue to experience refill problems for OVER a year, where I will request refill, receive notification it will be ready and then find out it’s not. Be told it’s ordered and arriving next day, and again it’s not. Then be told that I need to have the doc send new order for comparable med, versus the pharmacy calling the doc office. Moving all my rxes to new pharmacy so I can save myself time and support a business that might actually care about the customer.
I have to refill a prescription monthly. My provider sends to this pharmacy. If I do not call CVS and tell them ask permission is more accurate to fill what has JUST been sent, they will not fill it. Period. Does everyone have to do this? Every elderly person, every one that fills their meds? Wouldnt the CVS phones be tied up indefinitely? I was under impression that a provider sends the order, the pharmacy receives it, the pharmacy fills it. That has been protocol everywhere else I've filled medication. Why do I have to ask permission every time? My provider sent my prescription yesterday morning. I forgot to call and ask permission. When I called this morning, 24 hours later, they hadnt filled it. I have to wait until this afternoon. Am I the only one that experiences this?
Tried to get my second COVID booster shot and the man on phone said per their CVS Pharmacy it’s only one booster. Advised that’s false and could he look into it so patients could get their second booster. Didn’t really acknowledge it, stated when it comes from above theyll do but until then can’t look into it. Shocked, see CVS is all about the dollar bills, being lazy/not doing research or being update and failing at patient care. Will never go here
Made vaccination appointment for my partner noting that they did not have insurance. When we arrived on time for the appointment, staff asked us if we were aware of the cost. They gave us the price to pay out of pocket and we agreed. We them waited 40+ minutes before another staff member asked my partner if he was aware of the costs and that he was checking in on discount. We didn't ask for a discount and are running late to get groceries. Frankly, the was pre-scheduled and the lack of preparation is frustrating. Oh, and staff avoids eye contact because they KNOW customers are unhappy. Update: only one of the two vaccines were available, despite this being scheduled a week in advance. Oh and no discount. So in total, waited an hour for 1/2 of what we came for. Terrible customer service. And they didn't give my partner any paperwork for the vaccination he received.
The Pharmacy is very understaffed much like most places now, the worst part is that they never have in enough medication for your prescription. This happens to me every time I need my refill and I end up having to go multiple times to pick up one prescription since they can only give you enough for one or two days at a time until the new order comes in. I would think most places would pre-order the medication when they know they are going to need more. It is very frustrating and extremely time consuming.
Do your self a favor and stay away from here. This use to be the best place in town. Now it's not. They have messed up my meds sooo badly. Then argue with me that they need approval from my insurance to get my meds. My anti seizure medications can't be played around with or messed up. I've been on same med for 8yrs. Recently they didn't even bother to fill one of my medications that I desperately need to stay on. Then when they did they gave me the wrong does. Had I not caught it I could have gotten sick. I've called 6x in last 2 day and I'm on hold for 20 plus minutes. This last time I was on hold for almost and hour before I hung up. They even mess up my kids medications. The pharmacy staff are rude and just don't care.no wonder all the old staff left. Management has gotten horrible. I'm not looking for a new pharmacy.
Pharmacy tech was awesomely patient and took extra time to get a new person set up as cvs customer. Tech displayed great knowledge of her job and was able to provide information from memory without need to consult references. All the time i was there phone was ringing off the hook and multiple other customers were being served and vaccine line was running efficiently. Wow!
Don't know what is going on the CVS lately but the service is nothing like it use to be!. I requested a refill request be sent to my doctor on Monday and was told it would be ready by Friday. When I called CVS said that the request was never sent then she changed her story and said that the doctor never responded. When I called the doctor they stated they never receive it. I believe the doctor. CVS said they would "resend" the request. This has happened several time in the last three months. I understand new staff but this is ridiculous. Get you staff trained or replace them!
CVS Stone St. is the best pharmacy in Augusta! The pharmacy techs are very helpful, friendly and kind. The pharmacist are always available for consultations. 5 stars!
Self checkout NEVER works correctly. No matter where I put items, it’s not right according to recording. Didn’t want a bag, but must put bag on receiving area. SO FRIGGIN FRUSTRATING. No one at register and a recording at register says, “someone is on their way to assist you”. No one comes; I left items on counter and left the store again!!! If your sales are down, I’m sure I know why.
