Walmart Pharmacy

Yesterday I went to this pharmacy to order the controlled medication, because my son has autism, because he was transferring from Panama City Bech to the Fort Walton Beach pharmacy. The pharmacist made the doctor send a fax to the pharmacy, I asked for it and at the same time the fax arrived, she told me that she could only get the medication the other day, I understood and went back home. The other day I went to get the medicine and the same pharmacist asked me for more information about the doctor, saying that she had not yet taken the medicine. I told her that my son only had one more day of medication and I couldn't leave without the medication, he just told me he couldn't do anything. he leaves without my meds. I do not recommend this pharmacy to anyone, this pharmacist does not know how to treat people.

I had the worst experience ever here. I won't go back. Looks like pharmacist Jennifer wasn't in the mood to help me today. I don't even know the lady. She thought it would be ok to make me wait..................there were no other customers around just me........SMH

I had switched to cvs for convenience but had a terrible experience, they gave me the wrong meds and I had a severe reaction that I warned them had happened with the brand before but they assured me this was exactly the same as the ones I wanted. And when I called them for help because I was suffering they were rude and had no idea what she was talking about. Saying it was the exactly the same and different and that no one could get the pills I needed anymore. I called Walmart the second I hung up and the woman I spoke to was the sweetest ever! She was so helpful and kind. It made a terrible situation so much better!! She told me they did indeed have it and it was their most popular. She transferred the prescription back to their pharmacy and told me they could fill it with the one I needed today! So happy to be back with them. I’ve only ever had friendly interactions with everyone one of the employees over the last 9 years of going there.

I needed help transferring my meds offbase because my dependent insurance was expiring the next day and Deborah was an absolute savior. She was so friendly, accommodating, and so helpful. She gave me so much insight and reassured me that I would be able to get my meds in before my insurance on base expiredand it did. Would definitely come back again!!

Waited over 20 minutes in line to drop out 2 scripts for my husband whom has pneumonia and was told to come back in 1hr to recieve the medicine to help my husband get better. Only to come to the pick up and they stated it's not ready. Wait what? I've waiting over 1 hr 30 mins for 2 simple prescriptions. I understand that its busy and alot of people are getting their covid vaccine but they also need to attend to people who have been waiting for medication that can help save someone's life. If you dont know when the medication will be ready just tell me that and I would have went home and waited for a call not wait at the store. This all could have been solved with communication.

This is very best pharmacy. I’ve been using this pharmacy for more than 5 years. If you are having trouble getting your prescription they explain what is going on and what you need to do. They have a text message system that tells you when your prescription is ready. They are focused on the patient and are so organized. They are knowledgeable and kind. They are the Chick-Fil-A of pharmacies.

Called to find out how much time is required between AstraZeneca vaccine and Pfizer booster and got an earful of vaccine conspiracy theories. When I have visited in person, the staff has been very helpful with scheduling boosters.

Horrible, not once have they filled my scripts in a timely manner, and today was the last straw, having lost or ignored a script an urgent care facility sent to them which was done electronically, and the facility received confirmation that the pharmacy had it They have been consistently terrible. I have given them so many chances, but between poor communication skills among the team and zero sense of urgency, I can't bring myself to go back, not until the store manager takes charge of the department and instill into them the values other Wal-Mart Pharmacies have.

I called this Walmart pharmacy to find out if they had a prescription in stock and was told they couldn’t tell me that over the phone. I called Walmarts all day yesterday and this morning and not one of them gave me trouble . I personally don’t want to drive 45 minutes away to see in person if a pharmacy has a particular medication or not. Horrible customer service.
