I don't usually do reviews of pharmacies but Nick, one of the pharmacist there, changed my mind as he is simply put the best pharmacist I've dealt with in the 40'ish years of my life. They do get backed up, a lot of scripts and a smaller store I think is the issue but a simple call and they are on it. I am glad to have a decent pharmacy and again, Nick deserves praise for going above and beyond dealing with insurance, mailing meds, and just being great.
We called you LAST WEEK to refill the prescription and AGAIN to make sure it was filled and they said it would be refilled on Friday. I get there and they simply tell me they don't see it. Now I have to wait the weekend because the doctor is closed. These medications mess with your mental health if taken inconsistently. Thanks, for nothing. Be better at organization.
After having this pharmacy for 3 years I will leave and never go back. I have tried 3 times over the last year to call the pharmacy and talk to a person. I spend at least15 minutes talking to a computer or a customer service rep in the Phillipines before I talk to a real person. It is impossible to call here and talk to a person
I can't ever pick up my prescriptions because the line is always 20 people long. I am going to change pharmacies if it does not change. I feel sorry for the workers there, they are always dealing with people who are irritated from standing in line for an hour. They are working as hard as they can, the setup is terrible and there are not enough workers. They need double the space and double the employees. It needs to be expanded and a drive thru added.
I’ve waited an entire week for my prescriptions to be filled. As a diabetic I’ve now gone without medication for multiple days. They treat this like a joke, “we’re just running behind”. Worst pharmacy ever, unfortunately the only pharmacy my insurance covers.
I cannot stand this pharmacy. There are always a handful of employees visible and they all look down at the counter without acknowledging customers. They are difficult to communicate with in person and nearly impossible on the phone. None of the employees are concerned with being helpful. I was stuck at CVS for insurance reasons but just got to switch to HyVee.
Your Sioux City location is horrible at listening when i had asked if they jad recieved a script andcgave specific nsme of med and dossage instructions and quanity the techvsaid yes the pharmacist said she had it right there and it would be 5 minutes. An hour later get other scripts of mine i hadnt asked for and the one script i asked for wasnt there. Was thrn told they didnt get it and when asked why they had said they had it was told "i didnt hear you i just answered you". Terrible service and also dsngerous for someone with medicalnissues i WILL be using another pharmacy and never again CVS. They have zero concern about thrir customers let alone a car to even listen to them.
I caught the flu and the medicine that can shorten its duration has to be taken within 48 hours of symptom onset. My normal pharmacy was out of stock and time was ticking. I called this CVS in the early evening, and pharmacist Sheila worked wonders in finding if she had it in stock, figuring out how to get my insurance information, and transferring it over in less than an hour. It was above and beyond in terms of service. Thank you!
Worst service you can get. There's never enough help behind the counter and if my insurance didnt force me to use cvs I certainly wouldn't. My advice, find a different pharmacy
I can't believe it. Just found out my husband's meds are much cheaper elsewhere. He has Medicare part D. We have paid $6,000 more than we needed to for the past 8 years. Ugh!! No more CVS.
