The absolute worst service in the pharmacy. Super rude staff. Will unfortunately be having to switch pharmacies due to the consistent rudeness I’ve experienced in the last 4 months at this particular location.
Literally EVERY SINGLE PHARMACY in the area is struggling with staff issues and med shortages. Don’t expect a pharmacy to stay on top of YOUR meds and YOUR refills. Also if they are short staffed, don’t expect the phone to be answered IMMEDIATELY. Most of the techs in there are from other stores also, they don’t KNOW you as a person same as Walgreens across the street. If you want faster service then create an account online and THEN see if you have refills, if it’s in stock, refill online, etc. There’s not a pharmacy in the area without it’s issues, and people make it WORSE by coming through the drive thru and wanting to discuss their meds AT THE WINDOW! Use common sense and don’t take up more time than necessary. Pharmacists don’t get tips if you want super personalized service get your meds filled at the drs office. And DON’T expect the dr office to send your meds over the same day and then be ready the same day! You’re in a que, and they may not even be in stock. I wish more people would stop putting the probs on the pharmacy and making their issue everyone else’s!
I have had several incidents with pharmacy. They have mixed up my medicines when dosage amounts have changed. They don’t seem to be able to keep up with current meds compared to the older meds. But I have to say there are 2 things that REALLY tick me off. First, is when I go inside to drop off prescription and want to wait for it to be filled. I can be the only person there and be told I have to come back because others are ahead of you. I could understand if there were multiple prescriptions. But for 1 or 2 at the most I find ridiculous. Living 20-30 mins away it’s not like I can just walk across the street. 2nd, When I call the pharmacy to ask a question or check on a medication and sit on hold AT LEAST 10 mins..I called today to see if a medication had been delivered that was ordered. I sat on hold for 14 mins and STILL no one came to the phone!! I just hung up. This is TERRIBLE customer service!
Had the meds I needed ready within 24hrs of the doctor calling them in. Drive through was quick and easy.
I've never had a problem until having to deal with the pharmacy I literally just spent my whole lunch break on hold with the pharmacy and no one never picked up. This is pretty disappointing because I need my medicine.
The pharmacist argued with me that I didn't have any refills on my diabetes medication. After several phone calls I told her I would go to the dr office and bring the hard copy of the RX to her. Long story short and two weeks after I started trying to get this filled she filled my RX but its on back order. On top of all of that she was rude and not even an apology was offered. I will be making an inquiry with CVS and the State Board about how a pharmacy can attempt to alter an RX. Theres no excuse for them not knowing how many refills are on an RX. That is after all their job.
Arrived at 8:30 after leaving the hospital. One of the pharmacist said they could not fill my prescription because they would have to open the safe and it would take to long as they close at 9. Went across the street to Walgreens and they filled it and also said that the cvs pharmacist was lying and that it literally takes 5 minutes to open the safe, she just didn't want to because she's lazy.
I was on hold for thirty five minutes, I have a urinary tract infection. I am in pain. And when I say hello, the tech or pharm. Hangs up on me every time. I'm done with them. I e been a loyal customer but there customer service and disloyalty is trash. Two thumbs down
When you walk in they always greet you. I normally go inside to the Pharmacy and the ladies are always nice. When you are walking out the lady upfront normally tell you to have a good day. I have not had any bad experiences with CVS with the one in Saraland and Grand Bay.
Pharmacy staff is unprofessional--lacking common etiquette and manners, ordering "Hold on" on the phone, and when thanked, they give you "mm-hm" and hang up instead of "you're welcome" and returning APPRECIATION for you as a customer. I will seek to change with whom we do business.
