Cyd’s Sinful Sweets is a local, family-oriented, home-based bakery giving customers a beautiful way to enjoy their sinfully sweet treats.
I, Cyd, have always enjoyed baking from the day I attended a church activity in my youth; learning the basics of cake baking and decorating. After that, I began making simple things, like my famous snickerdoodles, for friends and family during the holidays. As I got better, I grew more and more into loving the art of cupcake and cookie decorating and enjoying seeing the smiles creep upon people’s faces when taking a bite of the sinfully amazing treats.
So if I love baking, and making people smile, through delicious art so much, why not start my own business doing it? And here I am today. It may be starting out small, but one day Cyd’s Sinful Sweets will be more than just a local out-of-home bakery. My dream would be to see my bakery on Food Network and be having people from all over the country, maybe even the world, and come to try my delectable sweets.
