Perfect place for a wedding! Teresa was very thorough in answering my questions and making sure that I got my dream wedding! The entire property is just gorgeous! The barn was the perfect size for my wedding of 150 guests, plenty of room for everyone to roam about. The bridal suite was awesome!! Perfect for natural light bridal suite photos! Grooms suite was also great but I didn’t spend a whole lot of time in there as the bride The Cypress Barn at Miller Lake workers were so great. They introduced themselves and stepped in to help wherever needed. It was a very fair price honestly it was probably a steal because it was fairly cheap and we had a dream wedding I would absolutely recommend this venue to other brides. My only recommendation is to check to make sure you can have your rehearsal dinner there. They were in such high demand that they had a wedding there both days before the wedding so we had to do the rehearsal dinner at a different venue. Thankfully it worked out though.
My husband and I were married at Cypress Barn at Miller Lake on June 17 and absolutely loved celebrating our wedding there! Mrs. Teresa was very prompt at responding throughout the planning process and the workers at the venue were so helpful and encouraging when we were setting up for our wedding. The property itself is gorgeous and the lakeside was perfect for our early evening wedding. There were multiple people remarking on how perfect it was by the water and that there was a nice cool breeze. The shaded lane beside the barn was wonderful for taking pictures in the afternoon. The barn itself is beautiful and provides a beautiful backdrop for a romantic and festive evening. Getting ready in the bridal suite and groom’s quarters for was very relaxing. The guys had plenty of room downstairs to chill and the girls had plenty of room to relax and get ready. Different vendors could also plate and set up in the kitchen area that had immediate access to the main room of the barn. Our guests could eat in the main room and then we’re able to gather outside on the patio to dance. The venue was worth the money that we spent to rent it out. The workers were very helpful and the peace of mind in knowing that we could be there the day before to set up was wonderful. I would gladly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a place to celebrate their day!
We attended the wedding here and it was fabulous. Just a beautiful setting the building is clean and spotless. The location was easy to find and there was ample parking.
I can’t say enough about this venue! Beautiful location outside, with inside option due to the weather. Bridal suite was roomy with chairs, large mirror for makeup and hair, huge bathroom, plenty of seating and nice AC! Plenty of parking, nice kitchen, grooms quarters, they offer tables rectangle or round, tablecloths, bar tops. It offers so many options for inside or outside with plenty of room for dinner and dancing. So many places for pictures near the lake and the property. Wonderful communication with the owner, Teresa! Love her and her husband, Hon! I would highly recommend this venue and Maegan Carroll for coordinator. She runs it like a well oiled machine! All her staff was so nice and helpful and the wedding day was wonderful. It was stress free and I got to enjoy the day with my daughter and family. We could not have asked for a better experience!
The barn and grounds are truly beautiful. The lake is a beautiful spot to get married if you chose to. The bridal / groomsmen rooms are clean spacious and well laid out. Teresa and her team were amazing and made our daughter and son in laws special day even more amazing. Would highly recommend this event space.
I had my wedding here the first weekend of May and it was PERFECT. From my husband and I's first visit with Teresa to scheduling a re-visit with my mom and sister, she was there for us every step of the way. Teresa was very responsive to texts and phone calls. We had Maegan as our day-of coordinator, who is also the venue manager. She was INCREDIBLE! I honestly could not have done the last few weeks without her. The day-of the wedding was a breeze having her there! Additionally, the venue itself is just stunning. We had our ceremony by the lake and it was beautiful. It was easy to fit our 150+ guests and everyone commented about how beautiful the venue was! 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to get married or host an event. Flawless and perfect from start to finish. We are very thankful!
I honestly can’t say enough wonderful things about this magical venue! Let me first start by saying that Teresa was an absolute pleasure to work with and was so incredibly generous and thoughtful. She continued to clean, make repairs, and maintain the overall property literally up until the time I walked down the aisle! Her property is the most beautiful and serene place you could ever imagine and getting married there was a dream. I’m not even a girl who thought I had the bride gene but this venue will make you a believer in fairytale weddings. From the second we arrived we knew we had found the one
We picked Cypress Barn at Miller Lake to celebrate our special day and it was without a doubt the best decision we ever made!!! It was the first venue we visited and I knew right when we pulled into the drive way that it was the one!!! The venue is absolutely beautiful on it’s own, leaving us with little decorating to be done for the day of The best part for me + overlooking the peaceful lake made for a great background! Due to the size and location of the property, there were multiple options for where we could hold the ceremony Inside the barn, outside on the cement, and in the grass down by the lake. The options for photos and guests to play and party are ENDLESS, in which we got lots of compliments on! My only concern was the limited phone service at the venue, and not once did we have any issues with our wedding party, guests, or vendors getting ahold of each other, even on the mornings of! Everything came together so well and in the end was everything we imagined and more! Most definitely cannot recommend this modernized, yet rustic vibe enough to anybody looking for an affordable venue with so many convenient amenities included Bar, Tables, Chairs, Arbor, etc.. Thank you so much to Teresa, her family, and the wonderful staff for helping make our day PERFECT
My wedding was April 30, 2022 and I had the best experience planning my wedding, one of the reasons being Teresa, the venue owner. Not only is she so so fabulous, but all of her staff as well. Every single small question I had over the span of 9 months, was answered personally by Teresa via text SO quickly. I cannot even express how quickly Teresa got back with me with every single text message I sent. We had an out of town/destination wedding, and unfortunately did not even get to see the venue in person prior to booking, Teresa sent us videos of her walking around the venue, explaining things as if we were there in person, additionally what really convinced us was our phone call to go over the contract. Teresa was so so professional, and explained every small detail over the phone with us so there was no confusion if we were to read it ourselves. On the day prior to our big day we unloaded our van full of wedding stuff and I kid you not Teresa helped us unload as if she was family and insisted I not lift a finger so I wouldn’t break my wedding nails. Mind you I had no hesitation in helping, she just did not want the bride to work . I felt so comfortable with not only Teresa herself, but the day of staff were just so genuinely excited to be there and happy to help at all times. The venue itself is absolutely my most favorite place, so beautiful as well as the best opportunity to have our outdoor ceremony in front of the GORGEOUS lake and such a fun reception inside the barn. Not only were we able to have our reception in the barn but our guests LOVED the attached patio, with beautiful string lights hanging, that way dancing was happening inside and outside. Unfortunately, Teresa had to work the day of our wedding and we grew an attachment to her LOL, but at 11PM she literally showed up just to see how everything went. She is a true angel and I couldn’t express enough to brides this is who you want to be your venue owner for the biggest day of your life, she is just amazing. The venue is just so stunning and people loved it. The bridal suite is LITERALLY amazing, it’s so spacious, air conditioned, perfect for photos and everything you could ever need to be comfortable and at peace on your wedding day. My husband loved his groom suite, it was definitely perfect for a bunch of men to hang out for the day and be comfortable, they all showered at the venue + there is a huge TV!! I really can’t speak enough on this venue and Teresa and plan to tell everyone to get married here because it made my day so special and I feel so blessed!
