Description

Cypress bar and grill is definitely the place to be. The music is loud and the energy is high whether it be local artists or new and up coming celebrities like Austin French. We book many different types of bands, whether you like rock, country, oldies, pop, or alternative, there is most definatly something for you here. The positive environment and finger food keep our regulars coming back for more and it would be and honor to have some new visitors join in on the fun.

Great customer service experience. The food was great. Cypress Grill is housing Cordelia's while it's being renovated. Cordelia's is the main restaurant at the Lake Blackshear resort. So the menu is an abbreviated version of what Cordelia's has to offer. Everything was flavorful and fresh. The view of the lake as the sun was setting was beautiful.
I got the triple threat which was burnt sausage, cold pulled pork and chicken on a stick. All 3 proteins were extremely dry and bland. The fact that the sausage was visibly burned black was sad. The wife got a chicken sandwich meal which the chicken was so dry she didn't eat it. The best part was the pretzel which was amazing, however that didn't make up for the burned entrees. Lastly, the cups were all chipped on the top and almost cut our mouths. Go somewhere else.

Great atmosphere, but the food was just ok. Not a lot of menu choices. $18 bucks for a few shrimp and one side. They were out of all the mixed drinks they offer on their drink menu. Kinda disappointed. The music was great! Just wish they would step up their food game a couple notches and this place has potential to be awesome!
We love visiting Lake Blackshear. My family has came here on several occasions for as long as i can remember. We've always enjoyed the lake, but getting some good food from the cypress grille is always worth the trip. Just had a recent visit, the menu has changed some. Bur still has great options to choose from. Pictured is a pepperoni and Italian sausage Flatbread and a hamburger and side salad. We also ordered onion and jalapeño petals with a side of dipping sauce. DELICIOUS
Haven’t been in for several years but thought we would give the new menu a try. Upon sitting down we were informed they were out of 50% of the menuall chicken, all tacos, calamari, hush puppies. What they did have was pretty terrible. Pulled pork had the texture of baby food, not sure if they boil or steam it to reheat but whatever they do just about dissolves the meat. Not an once of smoke flavor on the meat. My son had nachos and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Not many options on the lake but this goes to the bottom of the list.
Good food and a relaxings spot after a day on the lake. Limited menu. The BBQ sandwich was good and so were the chicken tenders. The burgers looked pretty delicious also as they were being served a lot. Looks like they do live music but we missed it. Will come back after a long day on the lake.
Food was excellent...and somewhat reasonably priced... Beer was cold! Server was attentive...atmosphere is great even on a hot summers day with the fans a-blowin. My BIG knock on them and the main reason they don't get 4-5 stars is that they advertised lunch menus on the Google that are not valid until 2 pm on a Saturday so we felt missled as to what they were serving so we were left scrambling to try and figure out what to eat.
Not impressed. No draft beer, food was ok. Ordered a pizza and it came with cheddar cheese. Not what we were expecting. Although, even with mozzarella it still would have been just ok. View is nice and our server was friendly.Food: 3/5
Food was good, and service was amazing. The beer was cold, and the wait time was okay. Great place to hang out, and have fun.
