My husband and I were looking for a place to eat and I saw a review for Sheila's Restaurant, but thought we missed it when we were leaving Cordele. So glad to see it on the road we were taking towards Alabama. Just took one look at the buffet and knew that it was going to be a winner. Everything we tried was delicious. Those collard greens and sweet potatoes were outstanding. We took a piece of pecan pie with us for later, and it is a must try. Of course, the cakes were great as well. You can't go wrong if you stop here for breakfast, lunch or dinner.
We drove out of our way to come eat here again - even picking a campground nearby so we could eat at the dinner buffet. It's great country cooking yes, with pork and butter and salt for flavor. The pecan pie is amazing - and they sell whole pecan pies too. Just yummy!
My entire family loves this restaurant. We camp near by and my family will drive 2 hours to meet us for lunch or dinner.
Best best best place ever I plan our family trips around this place and the time that they are open best food ever!!!
