I have been in Jacksonville 10+ years and have bounced around every year or so to a new dentist. I wouldn't go back to some because of their over billing, requests to do work that's not needed, and over all feel of the office/staff. I found Kernan Family Dental about 2 years ago and cannot say how satisfied I am with them. Their billing is never weird nor do I ever feel over charged, they've never pushed a service on me, I never have had to wait more then a few minutes to go back and everyone is super friendly. Also I did the 20 minute whitening on my last visit and it was well worth it! I am still showing off my smile weeks later! Thank you again, Christine.
First time patient here. I thought the service was great- from the front desk to the hygienist to the dentist. Everyone was friendly and my hygienist, Tonja, cleaned my teeth so thoroughly- both floss and the waterpik. She also took the time to discuss options for flossing and teeth whitening- even showing me products online. Dr. Prater unfortunately gave me some bad news, but I trust she will do an excellent job at my follow up visit.
Absolutely the best dentist that I have ever been to,and I would never think of going anywhere else. Amazing staff,and I am always informed of available treatments,and the associated costs involved. Dr. "O" and his staff always strive to make my visit as comfortable as possible,and truly treat me as though I were family.
I've never had a problem in all the years I have been coming to Kernan Dental. Yesterday was no exception! Got my routine cleaning, 2 fillings, teeth whitening and fluoride, I say it was the best day off spent at the dentist!
I have been a customer of Kennan Family Dental for nearly 20 years. Dr. Olinzock and his staff have truly treated me like family. Now that Dr. O has decided to retire, I know that Dr. Susan Prater will carry on the same family experience and excellent customer service that I have known over the past 20 years. I look forward to my next visit. I am a customer for life.
Bad experience! Feeling like BEING CHEATED. My husband when there for cleaning up but they did not let him know that he has to pay out of the pocket more than $210 even he has insurance from his company. They explained that they added the options and then billed his insurance later ?????. DO NOT GO THERE WITHOUT CHECKING THE PRICES!!!!!
I waited literally 4 years to go to the dentist because I am terrified of them. The office, the smell, everything. So, as you can imagine, I was skeptical. Let me tell you something, everyone in this office is a ray of sunshine! I cant begin to explain how happy I am that I chose Kernan Dental. Dr. O is the smiley-est guy in the whole world. He makes you feel all warm and fuzzy! :D If you're looking for a dentist, look no further!
All I want for Christmas is .......A late evening email appointment request resulted in next day office opening emergency service. What more can I say. Most excellent and much appreciated. Kiernan Family Dental has a new patient.
Friendly staff, clean office, up-to-date equipment. I appreciate that they take your blood pressure at the start of the visit. The dental hygienist was thorough, and gentle, and took time to explain procedures.
Dr. Olinzock & his staff always do great work. It is a great feeling to have found an honest & reputable dentist.
