Dr. Calhoun Graduated from The University of Florida with a Bachelor of Science'99 Master of Science'00 Doctor of Dental Medicine'04 And then did A residency in the Air Force in Advanced Education in General Dentistry Program, at the Eglin Air Force Base in Florida'05 and graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry where he Specialized in Endodontics (Root Canals)'09

I would give this rating a 20 if I could! Dr Calhoun is ABSOLUTELY amazing! I felt no pain during my root canal, he was very gentle, explaining everything as he went. His staff is incredible too! Seba even came to the parking lot to flag me down when I couldn’t find the office! Never had that before, and did I mention no pain during my procedure? None. Nada. Zero!!! Dr Calhouns assistant Yani is very nice and also gentle, I was nervous getting here and she noticed it, allowing me to calm down . Sandy at the front desk is also very sweet and friendly. Overall this is THE BEST experience I’ve ever had at a doctors office, and it was PAINLESS! Thanks to everyone!

If you need a root canal, this is the best place to come!!! I have had multiple mouth surgeries throughout the years with a few of them being absolutely horrible, but my experience with Dr. Calhoun was the absolute BEST! I wish he could have done all of my surgeries and dentist work throughout the years! I think as humans we like to understand what is happening to us and not just sit in silence especially during procedures. Dr. Calhoun was wonderful in explaining the entire process very thoroughly and made sure all my questions and concerns were addressed. Not once did I feel like I was not in the know. If you are looking for a place to get a root canal, I can not recommend him enough!

Had a root canal done by Dr. Calhoun and it was the easiest and pain free dental experience ever. I had anxiety before going in but talking to Dr. Calhoun made me at ease. He was understanding of my concerns and anxiety. He is very knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. He explained everything that he was doing step by step. I didn’t feel anything during or after procedure. I highly recommend him to anyone needing a root canal. Thank you Dr. Calhoun.

I had the best experience ever. The office was nice and cozy felt like home. the staff was Nice and very professional from the front end to the back. Dr Calhoun was amazing he explained the condition and treatment he took time to answer questions. I had a root canal done and I tell you it's 3 hrs later and I feel great... He definitely  have healing hands I felt no pain at all.... Kudos to Doctor Calhoun and his staff. I would definitely recommend him.

So it’s been a long time since I had a root canal done and my last experience back in 1998 with another Doctor wasn’t bad. Well unfortunately it was time for another root canal and the Doctor that did my last one was no longer in business. After searching through several Endodontic’s, I came across Dr. Calhoun and was very impressed with his reviews so I decided to go to him. Best experience I’ve ever had with a Dentist! The entire procedure was painless with the exception of the initial tooth nerve test. Dr. Calhoun was very attentive, caring, gentle and he always kept me informed with everything thing he was doing. I would highly recommend that anyone needing a root canal go to Jacksonville Endodontic Associates and let Dr. Calhoun take care of you!

I had a root canal this morning and everything was great! The staff was knowledgeable, helpful, and professional. Dr. Calhoun was amazing! He clearly explained everything before, during and after the procedure. No pain at all. I didn't feel a thing. He saved my tooth! Truly was a wonderful experience. Thank you Dr. Calhoun.

I received exceptional care from Dr. Calhoun and his staff...from the phone call with the receptionist to schedule my appointment until I left the office on the day of my care. Dr. Calhoun has great bedside manners, and he ensured that I was well informed of my treatment. Nia and Candace also provided exceptional care. Great team!!!!

Had a root canal re-treatment and Dr. Andrew Calhoun, staff and practice were fantastic! Very focused on treating the problem while making the patient comfortable and completely pain free i did not feel anything, even administering the anesthetic was done very gently while also keeping me informed and in the loop as to what he was doing and what was happening. I had a 2 hr long procedure but extremely happy with the experience. Doctor and staff are very nice to be around, he lightens up the mood with his presence, personality and cracking jokes while doing the procedure. The office has an elegant, classy look and very close to both I95 and JTB. Would recommend this practice in a heartbeat!

I had a very good experience at Dr. Calhoun’s Endodontic office. I had an unsuccessful root canal treatment 20 years ago in a hospital, and some of the root material already calcified mixed with the residue nerve. It was a more difficult procedure than a regular root canal. I was nervous at the beginning. However Dr. Calhoun’ s excellent skill delivered an almost painless process. He clearly explained every step. The x-ray showed the root canal work was excellent. After the local anesthesia wore off, I did not have pain at all the first day. Although I had a little bit of sensitivity and soreness on the 2nd and 3rd day, I did not have to take pain medicine and I slept well at night. Everything was normal on the 4th day.  I also want to thank his team members including the receptionist and her assistant. My home is about 3 hours’ drive from the office.  The office made my appointment as soon as possible, checked the insurance carefully and informed me of all details, making sure that Dr. Calhoun would check x-ray and perform the root canal in the same appointment.

Dr Calhoun took outstanding care of my family member. He dealt with her anxiety and got the root canal done with great skill.
