Dads University in Santa Ana provides fathers “Real Time” developmental asset building experiences with their children.
Dads University delivers a hands-on workshop approach, allowing bonding time between father and child. The program promotes opportunities for constant interaction with other families and community partners. Fathers are engaged with their children in a series of activities, integrating multiple indicators of the 40 Developmental Assets, such as Support, Empowerment, Boundaries & Expectations, Constructive Use of Time, Positive Values, and Positive Identity. Workshops are built on several rotations that allows time for father and child to engage in physical and verbal trust exercises, mentoring, motivation, and communication.
