There was a long line waiting to order our food. So we order our food waited almost 25 minutes. Then when we received our food our order was not right. I ordered the steak finger basket no toast no gravy. We order some nachos cheese. It was burnt. So by the time I went up there to get my gravy and toast my food was already cold I order tator tots I got fries. Rockport Dairy Queen needs to get it together The lid was missing from the bottle no ketchup anywhere to find.
This location has become one of our favorite stops! I highly recommend the grilled or fried chicken taco salad, but, if you really want an extra level of yummy.... request that the shell be crispy !, So YUMMY! Also, get your Belt Buster with Bacon.... beyond good!!!! O and might I add, the new Cheese bites dipped in the Salsa.... delicious! Although there was an issue with the AC on our visit, maintenance was diligently working hard to repair it, good job! The Staff was so friendly and accommodating, thank you for a wonderful dine in experience! Y'all definitely pleased this difficult Critic!
I realize it is a busy. But the young people you have working the front are rude. They won't look at you or acknowledge you. You feel invisible. I corrected the young man about being courteous. He wasn't happy with me. Hope you guys can do better. I live here so I come to dairy queen often.Food: 4/5
Upside: Staff seems friendly. Food is good. Generally the ice cream orders are correct. Downside: Sometimes the place is in disarray but it appears they are understaffed. Have ordered Food twice and neither has come with napkins or condiments. Today the styrofoam cups had holes which created a mess. Comments: Probably will just get ice cream here from now on. Service was awful.... And the girls got frustrated because we asked them what came in the burgers and they didn't know... How that is my fault I'm not sure but maybe they need better training. Ice cream was amazing as usual! But our food also took 34 minutes to come out and we just ordered two burgers and ice cream. It wasn't packed either. But I do hope next time we stop by the customer service is better because the food was great!
I wish it was a good place to get a hamburger. The last few times we have eaten there it has not been good. Yesterday clenched it that I will never try again. The worst hamburger I have ever had. Order wasn't complicated, 3 hamburgers - one with no onions and add mayo to one, but the women taking the order couldn't get it right and had get help. They still got it wrong. Overcooked meat, barely any veggies. Cold.
The greatest experience, and a huge amount of laughter is they gave my German shorthair pointer a pup cup we laughed and laughed to see his face as his eyes got big as the cup came toward him. The business was slow at that particular time, so three of the employees came to the window And asked his name and a few other questions as we all laughed and laughed of his joy. I think he made everyone’s day with the smile on his face.
I don’t leave bad reviews but this time I have to. I 100% understand it being a holiday weekend and that there are long wait times when there is high volume. But the store was dirty. There were tables that had been sitting empty but covered in trash and food for over an hour. We found a table that wasn’t too bad but I had to get a rag from the cashier because it was covered in dried ice cream. We waited in line to order for 20 minutes. The cashier seemed to be either checked out or high af. Then the food took another 35 minutes to get to us and then I was shocked at the poor quality of the food. Our chili cheese fries were very small less than half the size shown on the menu. The chicken strips were very dry and very hard. The tacos were very different from any DQ I have ever been. The shells were very hard and maybe a tablespoon and a half of meat and I bet 10 shreds of cheese. The lettuce was wilted. The 3rd taco had less than a tablespoon of meat on only one side. The condiment bar was empty and gross with yellow sludge around the containers. One a good note my moolatte was on point and the jalitoes burger was pretty good. I didn’t approach a manager to fix the problem because I didn’t know how much lounger we would be waiting and we were ready to get home after a long day at the beach.
Pretty upset that the employee argued with us about our order. we asked for royal choco brownie and then they listed it as choco brownie extreme. so we politely restated we want the royal and they condescendingly informed us it's the same thing even though there is a difference of hot fudge. We just wanted to clarify we were getting the right thing, not explain their menu to them. Now I'm explaining here - you work customer service, just acknowledge what the customer is asking for and don't be a jerk. by the way ontop of that we didn't get what we ordered.
Dirtiest Dairy Queen, dead roaches saw when we left on floor in restaurant; employees using the restroom with aprons on among trash cans being beyond disgusting & the mountain of dust on top of the salsa bar. These things were not noticed until we finished our food. The food was good, on par with other Dairy Queen’s. DQ is always a road trip stop for us, we will not be going here again!
