A student-run volunteer society affiliated with St. John Ambulance that focuses on providing emergency first response aid to the university campus.
Being newly established, the Dalhousie Medical Campus Response Team is a student-run volunteer organization that is focused on providing service to the university Campus. By the assistance of students trained with First Aid and Advanced Medical First Responder certification, DMCRT is proud to offer their services to all major events and activities that take place on campus. DMCRT coverage is applicable but not limited to sporting events, recreational activities, faculty events, frosh week, other DSU societies, and other special events.
Through the support of the Dalhousie Student Union and the incorporation of St. John Ambulance, DMCRT also offers the appropriate safety training education and certification to its members,

I. To have First Aid and Advanced Medical First Responders attending various major university events and be on-call at various times throughout the week / semesters for emergency response.
II. To offer First Aid and Medical First Response training and education to our students.
III. To build a greater sense of Dalhousie community by allowing students from numerous academic disciplines to work together to enhance the well-being of campus life by promoting health and safety.
