The DSU is here because of you.

Seriously, that’s why we’re here — If you are a Dalhousie student, you paid $127.28 for us to advocate, support, entertain and represent you throughout your university career. Our activities fall under four main categories:

Advocacy - Uniting our collective voices. Speaking up on behalf of students.

Community - Creating a safe, respectful and inclusive campus culture.

Events - Encouraging the personal and professional development of our members.

Services - Providing member services, society services, print services & more!

Mission

The DSU is here to help you realize who you want to be – an outspoken advocate, a community leader, an academic savant, and anything in between and beyond.

Food options on the 1st floor, with one offering free lunch, and souvenir shopping at the bases
A place which deserves all the appreciation. It offers a lot of things like food bank, book store, haircutting, loaded ladlefree meals. You can also be a part of various communities at Dal Student Union. Many communities offer events and parties. It's always a good idea to be a part of one of the clubs at DSU. You will get to meet a lot of new people from different places and will build a good connections there. They often organize many events at DSU which most of the people find interesting.:
Met with NAIG Medical staff there, did not use the facilty otherwise.
Went there for a spring concert. The attendants were helpful and the facility was excellent.
It's nice clean the bar is pretty good, worked a Taylor swift event on 02/14
I love this union so much. Although my friend broke up with his girl friend here. The professor J.Chen helped my friend go through with this hard time. Every time I visit this union, I still wish they would one day get back together, and once again have a nice time in this union.
The custodian working this evening December 6 @ 6:20 pm is amazing! I witnessed him emptying the garbage, going through the discarded items that had organic waste in them and properly disposing of the food in the compost bin. Please see this review and give this man recognition for being so diligent at his job and for upholding care for the environment!!!
Biggest union on campus for students, advocates student rights, though much of a say is restricted in front of management. Building has enough rest spots and study spots, good to spend time with friends and catch up and relax. Resto and bar also available.
Attended HGMC concert.... fantastic time!!!
It has many different kinds of food offered at this place on the main floor, including Tim Horton's. A good and cheap printing facilitycampus copy is located on the 3 rd floor and you can also fax there too. Dal students health plan office is also on this level right behind the Campus copy. It is located among many Dal buildings and served as the hub for students.
