Training for the 2019 Police Unity Tour and organizing the 4th annual Ride to Remeber unity ride.
The Dallas Police Cycling Team trains year round by riding in local rides throughout the metroplex.We are honored to ride in are the Police Unity Tour and the DPS Memorial ride. The Police Unity Tour raises money for the Officer Down Memorial Fund and DPS ride raises money for Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S)- both excellent organizations that do amazing things to honor our fallen Brothers and Sisters.
The Cycling Team's philanthropy is to raise money for its newly created fund that helps with the needs of fallen Dallas Police Officers year round, long after the Officer's end of watch. HALOS, Helping And Loving Our Survivors, fund vision is to provide assistance to the families of fallen Dallas Police Officers by providing both financial and emotional support on a year-round basis. Some of our financial expectations are college scholarships to helping with home maintenance projects both big and small. HALOS will provide turkeys for Thanksgiving and help purchase Christmas gifts for the children.
