Very beautiful park on the lake. Camping and almost every sport you can think of. Volleyball, horseshoes, Cornhole and more. Several boat launches. Tent on up to RV sites, primitive, electric and electric and water. No sewer hook ups but a nice trailer dump station. Great staff lady, friendly and helpful. Playground: Numerous play areas with swings, slides and play sets Restrooms: Very clean and well kept. Dog-friendliness: Dogs are welcome, it's the owners you have to watch sometimes! Picnic area: Beautiful park, mature trees, lots of shade and plenty of room for anything!
We really enjoyed our time in MN at this campground. The host, Jen was spectacular. She keeps the grounds/facilities looking great. Lots of stuff to do between fishing, island hike, wildflower walking trail, disc golf, volleyball, basketball, playground and horseshoes. Large, well maintained sites and lots of open space for the dogs. Great place to go if you're in the area.
Omg!! So beautiful!! And Jen the caretaker is so kind. The camping areas are welcoming, well maintained, and flat. There are at least 3 playgrounds, horse shoes, volleyball court, and lots of space to fish. Big fish! Bathrooms are super clean. Shower is spacious although the water does smell kinda funny. Thank you Jen!
This is one of the cleanest, well kept campground County park in Southern Minnesota. The gal running this facility is an absolute Gem! She is kind, helpful and caring. The lake is swimmer friendly they say, however I've not gone. The site I'm staying is area 3. With power, water, and a large open area is only $25.00 a night.
Very quiet and clean park/campground. We had an electric site, with gravel pad. Pretty level and grass between. Large spaced out spots. Playground: There are at least three playgrounds. There's also a substantial disc golf course Dog-friendliness: There is lots of room to walk dogs
Great parks for the kids, the lake was beautiful and the trails were fun! woke up to a deer each morning! And a raccoon each night we will be turning to this place to make future memories with our family and friends!
What a great experience at this park! The park doesn't have full hookups and the water needs to be filtered but that pales in comparison to the great welcome, super clean facilities, and well maintained grounds. Jen does an amazing job accommodating guest campers and keeps the park looking fabulous! She goes above and beyond in making your camping experience pleasant and memorable! Highly recommend! Picture is of the beautiful sunset over the lake, taken from our camper window!
Wonderful campgrounds. Absolutely delightful host. The views are beautiful. We'll be back. Thank you.
Early May birding morning. Quiet and peaceful before the camping crowds. Very good migrating woodland birding spot. Lots of warblers and woodpeckers.
It's very clean park and clean campground and Jane is very nice and respectful also
