Great site lines. Terrible drainage as 2 areas flood causing quite a mud pit. In the winter months it is a sheet of dangerous ice. The City should really lay down mulch in the muddy areas of the park like they do in London and Kitchener. Bring your own bags and water. Water is turned off in the colder months and since Covid poo bags are not supplied. People at the park are friendly. The Facebook group "Kettle Creek Dog Park St Thomas Ont" is the best way to know when dogs will be coming. Quite often there is not a lot of dogs at that park or no one. For aggressive dogs the separate area is great for playing with toys. The small dog area has the worst flooding and a very steep hill. In the winter I don't know how the little dogs get up the hill with the ice.
Went on March 22/23 on the way back to London from St.Thomas. 3 separate spaces - one for small dogs, one for all dogs and one dedicated to individual dogs to have some space to roam/playonly one dog at a time. Is all grass with some low lying areas that were quite mucky but overall good dog park. Even had dog bags available at gate so no excuses! One side of the park is lined with trees but outside of fence. Imagine it to be quite hot on a sunny day. Decent parking.
Great big open space! Surrounded by beautiful pines. Riley can't wait to go back! Dog-friendliness: Great folks at our encounter!
We had a great time at Kettle Creek Dog Park! On arrival it was useful to have a separate dog space to ensure our new rescue pup was comfortable in his environment before engaging with other dogs in the larger park. The park was clean, provided free drinking water and had plenty of space for dogs to play. There is a yard specifically for small dogs, the second yard for dogs playing on their own, and a third yard for group play. We'll visit again!
It's a wide open style dog park with nice thick grass and a few covered benches along the outskirts of the fence line. Water is readily available via a hose. Great park!
Nice park for dogs to have a big open run! Needs a bit of maintenance at the gates, there is a gap big enough for medium sized dogs to sneak underneath.
Although it's a bit far from London or St. Thomas, the park is pretty good as I don't think there's usually a lot of people here. It's primarily grass which you don't often find at dog parks.
This is a beautiful spacious dog park there is no question there. It should receive 5 stars for that. But please be aware of irresponsible dog owners that take known aggressive dogs there. My dog was attacked by a husky named Lina this past week. This dog frequently visits the park mostly early mornings. It has attacked another dog in June. Both labs. I would hate for someone else to experience this. Thank you.
Today was our first visit and I have to say, this is an excellent dog park. Quiet environment off the main road, beautiful forest scenery with trails just behind the dog park. Entirely fenced, separate areas for large and small dogs. A major feature for us and our greyhound is a separate field for individual play; ideal for playing with balls or for dogs that can't tolerate rough play. That being said, all other dogs and humans we met today were very friendly and respectful. We'll certainly be back :
I bring my husky luna here a day so far great experiences. All the dogs seems to be friendly and other than this one mud puddle she seems to get into its awesome, I wish they'd fence off that puddle though it's really deep and gross.
