Awesome! I enjoyed the greenery so much! Lovely space for events!
Great place for young athletes and kids alike to migrate to. Hoping they'll start some family/Community events, outdoor/indoor activities, and sports events up
I visited this center to watch my niece and nephew play their basketball games. The staff seemed very unorganized. They were pulling parents from the bleachers to ask for help taking down the basketball rims on a broken ladder! The leg was literally bending! The women's restroom had no doors on the stalls, and none of the plumbing seemed to be working correctly. The water wouldn't come out of the sink, but was leaking all over the floor from the ONE working toilet. I also came to find out this was the same in the men's restroom. Lack of working plumbing, and no stall doors. To add to it, there was a puddle of urine on the floor. The community seems to really rely on this place, so it's a shame the city can't even keep the bathrooms safe! It's a great place for the kids/community, it just seems like its at the bottom of the totem poll for the city.
Great place for kids and basketball. People pretty much keep to their own around these parts. Keep your valuables and vehicles secure and you'll be pleased with the atmosphere.
This is were my son practice basketball with his team . Nice place quite everybody gets alone well.
No foundation in the staffing as far as principal's are concern. Anyone with a loud voice, enough to scare their way into a volunteer job, is in. I just walked away from a team that was 4 - 0 and headed for a sure championship. Because one of the parents smelling like a ton of marijuana and looking like a junky from the hood. Came on the court where I was practicing my team. And tried to take my clipboard to see who was on my team. After I refused to let him do that, he got in my face and threaten my safety. The same parent I begged the staff to remove his son from my team. So I took my son, 6'7" 14 year old, 8th grader, and walked. Still undefeated on the court. By the way, this parent is a volunteer coach at Tate Gym as well.
I would have thought they would have been better prepared for an all day tournament with more toilet paper and paper towels in the bathrooms. Other than that, it was what I would expect an experience at a recreation center to be.
Great place to drop the kids off on a rainy day. Very safe and the elders look after the younger generations
It's great I play basketball there they have good service
It looks a whole lot better then the old park. The only downer is,there's no more pool.
