Danlin Furniture Conservators

My husband worked there many years ago, in fact his first day he was scheduled to star his new job our baby decided that was the day she was born so he had to call in and definately had a very good reason not to start that day !! I was glad to see their site and that they had expanded.

When my favorite old cabinet was picked up by Danlin Conservators in West Ravenswood, Chicago, I wondered what it would look like when it was finished. It was over 50 years old and had great vintage and retro brass hardware, which was really beat up. After a previous disaster occurred when a friend of a friend tried their hand at refinishing, the cabinet finish was a mess. I decided it was time to take it to a professional finisher and I knew someone in the architectural woodworking business who said that Danlin was the place to have the work done. Not only did they repair damages to the wood, but the cabinet was so well attended to that it looked brand new. The hardware was cleaned and polished, the casters replaced with a much better quality, and the cabinet came home to me looking just beautiful. There was such an attention to detail that even a fussy person like me could was very impressed with the quality of work done.

Danlin has finished many things for my company. They always do a perfect job!
