I wrote to Pete on Thursday night; by 10:30 a.m. the next day he was at our house, and by 11 he was done. Very efficient, fast and friendly.

Pete was nothing short of excellent. Called me back early on his day off and met me within 1 hour to solve my lock issue. Fair and reasonably priced and just an overall really nice guy. I would recommend his services to family and friends without hesitation.

Super friendly and honest locksmith. Always takes care of me right away with a smile, regardless of the issue. It's tricky to find. It's behind and to the right of the Miele dealer and Bob's Furniture and Gun.

Pete was knowledgeable and helpful - above and beyond expectations. I thought I would need new holes cut into my metal door along with new handles and a lock. He figured out I only needed door knobs. Pete gave me two he had in the shop and explained how to install them. He could have installed all new parts instead of honestly telling me all I needed to do. I highly recommend Pete’s Lock & Key in Darien, Ct.

Pete is a ultra competent locksmith and a very nice person. Did a quickie job for me at a reasonable price, had a great conversation, and gave me some advice on another lock problem. This is an old fashioned experienced locksmith who knows locks from old to new. I will use him again and again and again.

Pete is wonderful and knowledgeable. His work is exceptional and I recommend him highly. His store has limited hours but he is there when he says he will be. I believe he does work in the field so I am glad he also has a storefront.

I don't really leave reviews, but sometimes your interactions with someone are always so genuinely helpful and kind you can't help but want to tell everyone about them. That's Pete. I heard about him from 2 realtors when we bought our house. A couple reviews and a phone call later, and was re-keying our entire house first home! on the day we moved in. He was in and out quickly, really polite, and the bill more than reasonable. I've since used him for odd jobs, stopping by to cut an extra spare key for my car, or re-key my Anderson HD/Lowes type screen door. Again, charge is reasonable, the keys always work, his knowledge and advice feel limitless....he endures my questions and curiosity with his gentle smile and patient personality. Can't imagine using anyone else. I recommend him to all my friends, and it's only fair everyone in the area get to use his 40+ yrs of experience before he retires....which I hope isn't for a LONG time!
